218 years ago today Arthur Phillip and his band of merry men stole a little country away from the indigenious people to start the penal colony of New South Wales.

By the way it's a public holiday here today, have a good day at work people.:search::o

You have to make your own entertainment in Perth.

That passes for culture down under.

I dunno what Redcar's like for culture but there's no way, coming from Newcastle, I'd take the piss out of anywhere else in cultural terms. Except Cornwall.

Fair comment, glass houses and all that but at least our whole country isn't like that.

Cornwall is one of the loveliest places I've been (here or abroad) actually.

My dad's from St. Ives so we used to go there every summer to see my gran. It is a really nice place like.

I've got family from Devon and Cornwall, it was a joke aimed at my favourite West Country yokel AF. It's a really nice place though, I agree. Explains a lot about Gemmill though.
