Started watching Yoga Hosers last night but turned it off in disgust. I managed to get all the way through Tusk which was awful but this was miles worse. What the fuck has gone wrong with Kevin Smith? I know he was never what some people made him out to be but the complete lack of any sort of quality in his films now makes me wonder how any of them get made.

Since he started 24/7 blazing (I think post Zac and Miri) his stuff has become increasingly absurd. I'm worried about Clerks 3.

I stopped listening to Smodcast long ago because it became too ridiculous.

Really not sure about this. The trailer looks like it has completely deviated from the story arc and looks more like a remake of the original, which would be canny unsatisfactory.

I read the blade artist recently and the end of that clearly alluded to a sequel to porno. It'll be a shame if the book and film series become divergent.

Wizard Mode - Documentary about a young Aspergers lad who plays competitive pinball. Better than it sounds and really good insight into how difficult it must be to raise an autistic child.

Is competitive pinball really a thing? I assume this is a case of fact following fiction (Tommy)?

I know you're like a dog with a bone but you do realise I don't actually buy used underwear and sniff them? It was a newspaper article. I don't mind having the piss taken but get a new angle eh

Aye reeto, so how do you explain this then?

Saw trolls at the weekend. Highly recommended for girls between 3 and maybe 8 or so. Most colourful film I've ever seen, was like a cross between Cinderella and little big planet, oh and Precilla queen of the desert. Highly enjoyable in other words.

I came out of Trolls feeling like someone had given me IV Haribo. The bairns enjoyed it but dear god, it was sickly bright.

Got around to watching the Independence day sequel.

I really like the original - I know it's a bit shit and brainless but it's also a lot of fun. The sequel failed in the fun stakes though so was left just being shit.

It also didn't have the best nerd moment in film history (aliens using tcp/ip) to save it.
