I managed to get all the way through Tusk which was awful but this was miles worse. What the fuck has gone wrong with Kevin Smith? I know he was never what some people made him out to be but the complete lack of any sort of quality in his films now makes me wonder how any of them get made. Since he started 24/7 blazing (I think post Zac and Miri) his stuff has become increasingly absurd. I'm worried about Clerks 3. The trailer looks like it has completely deviated from the story arc and looks more like a remake of the original, which would be canny unsatisfactory. Â I read the blade artist recently and the end of that clearly alluded to a sequel to porno. It'll be a shame if the book and film series become divergent. Â I really like the original - I know it's a bit shit and brainless but it's also a lot of fun. The sequel failed in the fun stakes though so was left just being shit.
