Just watched that marriage thing on Netflix with Scarlett Johansson and Kylo Ren. Very good portrait of a collapsed marriage with good cameos from ray liotta and Laura dern as the blood-sucking divorce lawyers.

question is, can I be arsed with 3.5 hours of the Irishman next. Might take the lad out later to see the latest jumanji. Last one was good fun

Chebbage?

Went to watch the laserbats and the pew pew and thought it was ok. Overall I think they ended up devaluing their own story and i feel like any reveals were a little bit sudden.

It was still fairly entertaining and will hopefully annoy all the right internet lunatics who think it’s a Marxist conspiracy against the white man by the EU or whatever.

Then I got home and watched full metal jacket, bizarrely, with a fresh appreciation for the cinematography.

I thought it was canny dull tbh. Stephen Graham’s scenes had the kind of actual tension that was missing from a lot of it. Mind, I did fall asleep halfway through it and watched the other half a day or two later. But life is short enough without rewatching a 6 hour film.

I thought so too, mind I was never as massive a fan of Goodfellas etc as some people are. Also, De Niro, an Irish man, really?

Watched Once upon a time in Hollywood at the weekend. It was too long as well I thought with some pointless arcs. Still always love a Tarantintino, although not one of his best I thought.

Margot Robbie in that is one of the most pointless parts ever. Apart from being a stone cold fox like, she has maybe 3 lines?

Since it’s Tarantino, how many times does she get her feet out?
