Le Mans 66

I like a bit of racing but certainly no expert on its history..this was really good, Bale is great as the unlikely Brummie protagonist Ken Miles who ended up in the US motor sport hall of fame and who had also had driven a tank on to a Normandy beach on D day. Brilliant evocative 60s design, especially of Le Mans & Daytona tracks/pit etc 👍

Love that film.

Yeh it was absolutely class. It’s nice to see some clever story telling without in descending into a Black Mirror style twist.

Some of the pieces I couldn't get interested in, but the prospector, James Franco's bit, and the singing cowboy were class.

The Eurovision "movie" may be a bit cack but at least it's got the nerds wound up. As a Eurovision nerd I approve entirely. :D https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-53217853

Also finally watched Moonlight at the weekend. From what I'd heard I was expecting a much tougher watch. I'm not sure I loved it but it was definitely better than La La Land.

Paris, Texas. was on archive.org recently. wonderful film, except the lead character walks a bit too fast for my liking.

Class. I haven’t seen that for years.
