Expendables. Wouldn't bother going to the cinema for this, but it's a real throw back to the early action films. Ridiculous, plot-holes a-go-go and wooden acting.... still fun in a preposterous way like.

Directed by a wooden actor - what did you expect?

An American In Paris - Canny

Moon - Really liked it.

I'd not have included the scene where he has the vision of his daughter like. I prefer to take the story at face value, as you can without that scene. With it included you have the question of whether he's just a nutjob, which I thought the film had otherwise done an excellent job of raising as the only possibility....then dispelling.

Great debut from Zowie I thought, must watch it again. Goes to show at the end of the day flashy CGI special effects mean fuck all. On a complete tangent I wish this 3D gimmick would fuck off as well.

Piranha

If this isn't laden with Oscars next year then I'm never going to the cinema again out of protest.

Absolutely fucking brilliant.

Cemetery Junction. I enjoyed it, but I thought it would be better than it was. Some of the funny lines were delivered exactly how Gervais would deliver them, which is understandable and not necessarily a bad thing, but it just kind of felt like the characters were almost doing an impression.
