Film/moving picture show you most recently watched

When did drinking at the cinema become a thing anyway? Apart from the antisocial elements described, it's not going to heighten the experience. I would quite literally lose the plot after a couple.

Picturehouse cinemas let you take proper pints or glasses of wine in. It's quite nice that they trust their customers to drink responsibly and behave themselves. Getting pissed when watching a movie doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Shame there aren't more of them around the country, only really know about one outside of London, in Leeds.

i can't understand the appeal in getting shitfaced in the cinema. a couple of drinks aye, but the last thing you'd want to do bladdered is sit still in the dark for 2 hours, not being able to bend someones ear

Movie drinking games are supposedly popular though.  Anyone ever actually played one, or do we not live in Big Bang Theory world?

The Withnail and I one is meant to be lethal, meaning it's advisable that anyone wanting to play movie/show/film drinking games should try it.

They are all over the country. Cineworld bought them a couple of years ago but haven't meddled too much.

Biggest grossing film in china, ever.

Same writer, director, producer as Shaolin Soccer and Kung Fu Hustle (Stephen Chow).  I loved them, so was hoping it would be better than the trailer suggests.

It wasn't much.  Still enjoyable enough.  Proper mad stuff though, almost a kids film but with heinous, bloody, gratuitous mermaid murder thrown in.

3 stars.

Lion is good. Saw it last night. (Great review.)

People who go to the cinema are getting worse btw. A middle aged couple just out-loud talking as if they were on Gogglebox.

A snappy cuff on the ear works I find. Or loud yawing.
