Mentioned it in the match thread and can't find the clip, but that moment minutes after Anderson came on where he bullied him off the ball probably secured the win. Anderson went into his shell and almost hid, while we just took them apart after that.

Anderson will have always been used to being the kid around the senior players.here, he's went away and had a good start so might have been confident, but I reckon mentally he probably felt like a kid around the senior players again after that moment.

Some of the line ups on show in the earlier goals

I remember his first goal well. I'd been to see the MotoGP with my dad at Silverstone. Went back to a village pub after and watched us beat Spurs, before they changed the channel and we saw Stokes and Leach put on 76 runs for a 10th wicket partnership to beat the Aussies in the Ashes :D

I think you’ve slightly misremembered the order. Stokes century was before the match, which was the half four ko. Some day though, as you say. I was at a bbq at a local football club and I seem to remember the weather being stunning too?

Quite possibly. It was scorching at Silverstone!

I just remember people drifting in to watch the match build up but loads of us were absolutely not having the tv being turned over, given what happening. Despite it being amazing I think I aged about 5 years watching that innings. Especially at the death with (non) run out and LBW.
