Loved him yesterday beastmode was activated. Just wish he had his finishing head on worzel must of borrowed it.

His finishing often let's him down, one or two need to work on it tbh or Eddie needs to find time on a few extra shooting drills.

He gets into great positions aswell naturally from the midfield just seems to snatch at things.

I am not sure his finishing was too bad. He could have placed the first shot better obviously but I have seen worse attempts from better players. His header was quite good and needed a brilliant save from Sels to keep it out. His attempt from the half way line was awful though.

I don't think he keeps it on the deck enough or low enough a lot of times, it's not just him but it's a bugbear of mine in general.

Then you'll have been very pleased with his attempt to lob Sels.

If Joelinton could shoot he'd most likely be played as a striker and we'd never have kept him. Still scores the odd vital goal though. Never seen a player like him in his role, you can imagine people hate playing against him.

Most of my mates who support other clubs can't fucking stand him - refer to him as a 'clogger' who's just out to stop their playmakers by fair means or foul. None of them deny they'd love him in their shirt and agree not many have the same 'die for the shirt' attitude he does.

I fucking love the bloke - embodies everything I want to see from someone privileged to play for my club.

He is already a club legend. I think we might outgrow him if we decide to go more technical one day but for now he is awesome.

There's always going to be matches or phases of matches where you need Big Joe.

Also, the mackems absolutely detest him, which is a plus.
