Meanwhile in Germany, anti-coronavirus demonstrators who've scheduled their protest to start at 18:18 on the anniversary of Kristallnacht are saying they're definitely not Nazis, no sir. 🤦‍♂️

Pfizer vaccine works! 90% effective at preventing transmission. Not bad at all for a first generation vaccine. Science will save the day.

Good news but it's got to be stored at -80 degrees C, not going to able to get it at Boots or the Gp's very easily.

Is that true? Seems quite unusual. Apparently the UK has already bought 30 million doses so that is a lot of freezer space.

It’s still good for five days after thawing.

There was a story the other day about GPs and other clinics being asked to prepare for two vaccines from the start od December one of which had to be kept at - 70 so I'd guess that refers to this one and possibly the Oxford one.

If it wasn't for the fact it needs mass use I'd tell any anti-science cunts to fuck off from getting it/them.

It got developed by BioNTech who work on flu vaccines. It will be produced in the town where I was born, as the region is locally known as hessian siberia it is probably no problem to store it there.

BioNTech have been quite optimistic about the development and therefore did already start to produce larger amounts. They have just been waiting on the final data from studies to apply for approval in the US. There is already a rolling review in process for a quick approval in Europe.
