Tiger King on Netflix. True crime documentary about this bloke:

It follows him and others in the American private zoo business, they’re all absolutely fucking mental and a bunch of total cunts. We watched the Jinx before watching this which I also highly fookin recommend but I know plenty on here have seen that.

I listened to a podcast about this. Mental craic.

Which podcast was that? It says a lot about how mental they all are that this Joe Exotic bloke probably isn’t even the worst one.

I think it was just called Joe Exotic. One of these where it just sticks with this story for 6 or 7 episodes and that's the finish of it.

I’ll take a look for it. Although this doc is getting really depressing at this point so maybe this will be my fill of this blokes saga

Got up early to watch this....just brilliant. It’s on All 4 for a month 👍

I’d forgotten Argentina played Italy in Naples in the WC semi at Italia 90... I can’t think of another more conflicted sporting event, it’s incomparable..

From that list of football documentaries I listed in the general football blather thread, History of Football - The Beautiful Game, narrated by Terence Stamp is excellent

I was looking forward to finally seeing Mike Bassett on Prime but the cunt Australian version doesn't have it or Next Goal Wins, which is awesome if you get a chance to see it.

I’m not okay with this

Is that really okay? I've watched the first couple of episodes and it feels like you need to be a menstral teenage girl to enjoy it.

Probably my age but I think that was the last proper World Cup before it became so staid and commercialised

Not the best World Cup for standard of play (ironically all the worlds top players played in Italy at the time, go figure) but I couldn't agree more. I left home in February 1990 and that summer was just full of utter joy. My closest friends to this day were

made/renewed that summer (I was born in Poole, lived here till I was 10 when we moved to the Borders, went back for first time in 1990 👍)

Aye, the way England played is even viewed through rose-tinted specs. Shite against Ireland in what basically amounted to a Sunday League match, very good against the Dutch (but still only drew), fortunate against Egypt, lucky against Belgium, fantastic goal from Platt aside, scraped past Cameroon before being  really unlucky against West Germany in the match just about everyone in the country watched (I’ve never watched the third place playoff to this day). Some iconic moments though. Baggio against Czechoslovakia being right up there. Happy days

Didn’t realise there was a 5th season of Bosch. Seems like another solid outing so far even if his partner is still as wooden as Pinocchio’s knackers.

That fucker was in the Wire. He seemed good in that but I know what you mean about him in this. Wondering if I've seen this season or not.

Watched the first episode of the new Westworld last night, Jesus, it really needs to improve! (I liked the the first series, 2nd one wasn't bad either but if this is a taster of the other episodes then it's not looking good).

One programme I always see adverts for is Impractical Jokers and jesus it looks absolute pony. If any positive comes out of the shit situation we're in, is people getting paid for fuck all skills in doing what them cunts do.
