My Hopes.

Liverpool v Chelsea

Aston Villa/Man City v Middlesborough

Bolton/WHam v Charlton

Newcastle v Birmingham.

Unless a miracle happens and Colchester beat Chelsea then I want them.

If Colchester can beat Chelsea why would you want them in the QF? :D

We'll get Bolton/WHam

Looking at my crystal ball,it is going to be a NUFC vs Bolton final.

Bolton are going to knockout all the good teams, but we will beat them.

is that another gut feeling?

No, just an analysis of the best possible outcome.

Personally, I would rather lose in the quarters than lose in the semis or the final again.

If we have to play a good team at some stage I'd rather it was Liverpool or Chelsea at home in the next round rather than on a neutral ground later, it'll be our best chance of beating either of them.

Ideally though I'd like to see those two teams drawn away to the likes of Charlton and Bolton, 'cos they might turn them over.

Home draw though is really all you can ask for in the last 8.

Agreed. I want a home draw, and failing Liverpool and Chelsea getting drawn against one another, I'd want one of them at home. It's the only chance we'll have of putting them out IMO.

Although SLP assures me that it doesn't matter WHO we get drawn against, or WHEN we get drawn against them, cos the cup is ours this season.

When was the last time there were no none-Premiership clubs in the last 8?
