MOTD slow motion showed Darlow wrapping an arm around Mane’s leg just prior to Shar clearing very close to the goal line and suggesting it was a pen. What they didn’t show was Mane clearly handling the ball after the initial save.

Indeed, what a load of shite that was. Michael Owen was providing his expert opinion on it, suggesting that if Mane went down he would have been likely to get a penalty, but then he went on to say that the VAR was right not to award a penalty because it wasn't a clear and obvious error. Thanks Michael, makes perfect sense.

Let's not forget that Darlow was on the ground after making the save and Mane trampled on him in trying to get to the ball.

Darlow could quite possibly have been knee’d in the head before grabbing Mane’s leg.The Handball,of course, preceded these other incidents which you would like to think would have been spotted by VAR.You have commentators,pundits,presenters,players,ex-players ex-managers and current managers giving their views on decisions and their dislike of VAR and none of them spotted a clear handball. You and me should be working VAR !!!
