Bruce in post match interview : I've never ran away from a fight. I'm not a quitter and I won't quit now. Translation : I've never left a job without a payoff or another job lined up, and I won't start now, it's not like I actually give a fuck about Newcastle or am actually a real supporter of them.

Both him and Dummitt have shown no interest in getting close to stop crosses coming in.That’s all four fullbacks now who don’t give a fuck. This could be a one-off for Dummitt though.

The team energy is just non existent and was like that from the start. Have to blame them collectively for that, though we know where the real problems start. It's highlighted countless individual failings but for me it all comes down to the lack of collective commitment painting the picture of how rotten things are.

not one player can hold their head up after that, absolute shambles from start to finish, No effort . no plan. no interest and not 1 shot on target in 90 mins, A total  embarresment.  Watched through some very poor times in the 80s., but this is the worst i've seen in my time.

After this shambles the fat twat has to be questioned about his future by the media, starting with the the post match SKY reporter

When you're talking about fat twats at Newcastle United you'll need to be much more specific.

They couldn’t give a toss when they concede a goal.I don’t imagine defeats hurt them either.

I’ve experienced a number of relegations and most have been because we simply weren’t good enough. This inevitable relegation is different, and you have explained very clearly why in your post.

It’s certainly no different to the last two.

One of the Sky commentators did actually point something useful out, in between trading in ridiculous cliches about what we supposedly demand as fans, when he said that Bruce and his coaches seemed to be making decisions by committee on the touchline. I think it's very likely that Bruce was asked to bring another coach in with Jones or be sacked, and now we don't have actually have one leader on the coaching side in the dressing room. That's likely a large part of why players are disillusioned and don't seem to give a fuck, again because the coaching side of things is a fucking shambles.

Lascelles:

"On paper our team is ridiculous but we need to show more heart,"

"We need players who care and will look after each other, we've lacked it.

"We've got flair players, tricky players, players with loads of talent but we need more heart, desire and bigger characters on the pitch.

"No matter how good you are, if you don't have that fight and hunger it doesn't matter."
