No. Absolutely not. It needs to stand as it is. As a monument to the deluge of piss flowing from the beds of the timorous and weak.

Right, who's going to go through the thread and name and shame the moist of pants.

I think we all know who's swimming in more of their own piss than anyone else.

I think the bed wetters can hold their heads up high

Had it not been for 2 very unexpected wins, we could be going into our last 2 games 3 points off relegation.

Some of the sausage wavers were ott and a lot of others kept their powder dry

Im wet and proud

Yeah I think relegation will just mean we get laughed at by the rest of the world and have to stiff upper lip our way through that, but in the long run it'll be irrelevant.

That said, I echo what everyone else is saying. There's time yet and there are plenty of shit teams in the division this year.

Aye but so have most of these teams. Even Norwich have won more games than us and some of the teams people are mentioning here have 5 wins

Anyway if we'd managed to win those two easier games instead of fucking them up we'd be on 14 points atm which I think is more representative of where we should be really. Assuming January allows us to improve, I think we can recover those 4 missed points and get out of this still. We need signings in place by mid-Jan though, that's when the easier games hit.

I still think we'll stay up though because I do think we'll get an uplift from mid-Jan with new signings and turn our draws with bottom half teams into shithouse wins. None of our relegation rivals will be able to match us on squad revamp.

As bad as we've been, if we had not thrown points away against Norwich, Palace, Watford and maybe even Brentford, we'd have 23 points and be 15th.

The ability to get out of this is there if we can just get some solidity.

I'm pretty happy with my takes ;)

...results predictor notwithstanding   (although even then, we're currently +/- 2 points against what I had us down for!)

Fishy's best case scenario

15/05 Tottenham Burnley Home Draw Away
15/05 Leeds Brighton Home Draw Away
15/05 Everton Brentford Home Draw Away
19/05 Everton Crystal Palace Home Draw Away
19/05 Aston Villa Burnley Home Draw Away
22/05 Arsenal Everton Home Draw Away
22/05 Brentford Leeds Home Draw Away

More likely

15/05 Tottenham Burnley Home Draw Away
15/05 Leeds Brighton Home Draw Away
15/05 Everton Brentford Home Draw Away
19/05 Everton Crystal Palace Home Draw Away
19/05 Aston Villa Burnley Home Draw Away

2 Liverpool 38 92
3 Chelsea 38 76
4 Spurs 38 71
5 Arsenal 38 70
6 Man United 38 59
7 West Ham 38 56
8 Wolves 38 53
9 Brighton 38 51
10 Leicester 38 49
11 Palace 38 47
12 Brentford 38 47
13 Newcastle 38 47
14 Villa 38 45
15 Southampton 38 41
16 Everton 38 38
17 Burnley 38 35
18 Leeds 38 34
19 Watford 38 23
20 Norwich 38 21

Goal difference is going to kick us in the bollocks sadly, but there's no way we're going to have a 25-goal swing against Palace, or even a 13-goal swing against Brentford go in our favour.
