So few hits am not sure there's a comeback there

I'm happy to admit that I had to google just to get the opening gambit.

i went to see him at uni, got absolutely baked and ended up watching the show slumped in a heap, as did most of the audience. seems mad to look back at days when smoking at gigs was perfectly normal

  • 2 weeks later...

Did anyone even see the incident?

He looked fine then all of a sudden the ball comes his way and he puts it straight out of play before signalling he had to come off.

Nufc.com say he was stamped on his foot.  That plus the post X-ray protective boot does seem to suggest broken metatarsal, unfortunately, which is at least 8-10 weeks out.

He would be a massive loss, he’s been so influential. The game today completely changed after he went off. Already a talismanic player.

Of all the players to get that injury. It had to be the main man, ffs. That’s usually 8 weeks or thereabouts before returning to match fitness

Unless you're Michael Owen, in which case it means a three month holiday.

Agreed fuckface, but NEEDS SURGERY makes it sound worse than is having surgery to expedite recovery.

Sounds like someone has requested an emergency transfer to team bedwetter.
