Sky have gone with a SIGNINGOMETER.

SIGNED

MEDICAL

IN TALKS

BID ACCEPTED

BID REJECTED

INTERESTED.

They start at the bottom and are moving each player up through the ranks as they get news in.

Hopefully by the end of the day we've scaled Mount Signing multiple times.

He spent years being kicked around in the PL, nothing new to him. If he was even at a small risk to his heart doctors wouldn't have allowed him to be training, he wouldn't have, and Ajax wouldn't have either.

Not saying you are, but have seen lots of people trying to downers on his return - I think it's fantastic he's able to return to top level football.

Would certainly have taken him here, but Brentford with all their Danishness makes sense. Hopefully he has an impact and can get a move back to a European level club. Always liked him ever since he was at Ajax, always wanted us to come in for him - fantastic player.

Plus it's Brentford with their moneyball/stats approach, they'll have due diligenced the fuck out of it. Doesn't mean there's zero risk but as you say, they wouldn't have green-lit it just like that.

I’m just waiting for one of these new signings to run their slick new SUV clean over Pearson at the training ground gate early February.

I was just reading this on the Athletic:

Quote

Christian Eriksen (Free agent to Brentford)

Brentford should finalise the signing of Christian Eriksen on a six-month contract, explains Jay Harris.

The 29-year-old agreed personal terms with the club last week and The Athletic understands that he has undergone a series of extensive medical checks within the last few days. There were just a few small hurdles to overcome this weekend before the deal could be finalised.

Eriksen has not travelled to England yet ahead of the move and he spent time last week training with his former side Ajax. As the Denmark international is a free agent, Brentford do not have to complete his signing before the 11pm deadline on Monday. However, Premier League clubs need to submit updated 25-man squads within a few days of the window closing.
