I've just watched Joe Hart and Chris Sutton have a full on verbal punch up on BBC's Monday Night Club about the morality of Isak's behavior   they've discussed all the big deals in order, very good and well informed with decent contributions from non players (Rory someone?) and Chapman would never let anything wander into arse kissing any given club. It's before 9pm and they're now discussing Sheffield Utds troubles. Can't and won't watch sky sports news at any time,  it's aural bin juice... Sutton now annihilating Rangers AND Celtic for their awful Xg in the derby yesterday :D

I watched a bit of that and I noted that Rory lad do something I've noticed loads do recently in the media and that's inflate our fees we've spent on players, he kept saying £60m for Wissa, they used to always get Isak's fee wrong and have been doing it for ages.

He was making a point about us overpaying for Wissa so to emphasise his point he makes the fee even greater than it is because obviously we're Newcastle and we have to overpay for players to even consider us I suppose?

in this world there's some spelling mistakes/incorrect word usage which are clearly the fault of auto fill/ word prediction.

then there are others which are very much down to plain stupidity. like the example we've seen you demonstrate here.

People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones !

Your grammar & capitalization are extremely poor and you appear to struggle  with the difference between singular & plural.

In the cold light of day we've been done up like a kipper, well and truly. The rat has got his move, we've got taken for a ride on the fee by the red scum, and then we've been taken for another by Brentford. If this is all we could come up with - rat going, Wissa coming - then we could've done that business four weeks ago and not had our preseason and first three games utterly fucked by the rat's antics.

I am really pleased with all of our other business. We've improved in a lot of key areas and brought in younger players to rejuvenate the squad. But we've been fucked here. So much blather about the Saudis this, and loss of face that, and exactly that has come to pass. We've had the piss taken out of us.

You have to look at it collectively; it's Wissa and Woltemade replacing Wilson and Isak. Quite a different partnership, though Wilson and Isak were rarely played together. I do think we wanted to also bring in another striker (so we have 3 options) so it is somewhat a failing there. This is offset by the good business we've done elsewhere.

Getting back to your point we were trying to wrap up Wissa from the start of the window but Brentford's indication to the player and his agent were somewhat different to their true intentions and they held on for as long as they could to get as much as they could for him. Without knowing all of the details you can't be too scathing and ultimately I don't think it changes the overall outcome except for how much we spent on him and how early we could start our season proper.

Certainly Liverpool have shown no respect at all, and the complicit media played their part too. We've had our hand forced but realistically we didn't have any other play to make that wouldn't have been a huge distraction to Howe and the team and that financially wouldn't have left us much worse off. So whilst we have been fucked over by a disloyal rat and a bunch of immoral cheats we're finally out the other side and can start our season. Taking into account the removal of his loyalty bonus I think the fee is fair enough when you consider his injury record and his streaky form.

Thankfully there's also open acknowledgement that Isak handled the situation incredibly poorly and his actions won't be forgotten. He's effectively written himself out of our history and turned thousands upon thousands of supporters into enemies.

I think Guehi going would have been a step too far for Glasner & he'd have resigned.

Cost palace £35m but kept a quality manager.

Should have taken the £60m last year ya twat!

I saw someone on SSN saying that Glasners relationship with Parrish was frayed.

I’m not sure what they could do with Guehi. Either took the money or get nothing next summer.  I guess you’d have to factor the financials of a higher PL finish / cup runs.

Well I've missed the last 24 hours or so being on a couple of flights and I refuse to pay the extra $20 for internet

Good thing considering the shit show came to its inevitable end. I'm as furious as the rest of you that Isak got he wanted in the end but it's difficult to see what choice we had in the end all things considered. I'd have loved for him to rot on the bench or be forced into a loan move somewhere for a year but the optics plus potential impact on dressing room may have been considerably bad. I don't know. The only thing we know for sure what a massive CUNT this lad has proven himself to be, the way he's destroyed his legacy here and acted with zero class. At least this is being acknowledged almost universally. I hope his career completely unravels from here.

The club has done remarkably well overall in the window, the squad is much stronger and we have hope Wissa and Woltemade can match or improve on the rat's record. We can now move on and truly start the season. Hopefully we've learnt our lesson on execs and there's a proper structure in place by the time of the next window; and other important decisions like the stadium are made soon.

Howe again has come off incredibly well in all of this and helped navigate a potentially disastrous window without much help from management. Give the man a new contract, give him whatever he wants, there can be absolutely no fecking about when it comes to his future. Hopefully the ownership recognize this.
