Disappointing performance. The lack of passion in the game was frustrating, meaning there was nothing to close the gap in quality.

Most frustrating was the amount of totally unnecessary offside positions demonstrating that players had absolutely no awareness at all.

A lot of horrible individual performances as well.

Ah well. That was a funny one. We  didn't really do enough to get anything.

I don't feel like Liverpool have had a particularly hard time of it tbh either. Frustrating.

TBH I don't think Liverpool have been great last few weeks.  But it shows their level when they grind out results.

Sounds like my decision to spend 4h on the bike in the sun was the best idea then

Upgrading required but we knew that. ASM does my fucking box in when he loses possession or makes the pass too late and the recieving player is dispossessed. Striker with pace number one priority.

If a team this flat and unimpressive wins the PL, let alone the mythic, godlike never before attempted divine right quadruple, it'll be a travesty.

They didn’t have to get out of first gear tbf.

As i said, ref set the precedent of protecting the Liverpool players early and in doing so, probably knackered our plan. Bit more quality and we’d have got something since they’re crawling over the line but it’s a stark difference from playing the likes of these and hoping that we keep it down to 3 or 4. We were genuinely competitive and worked their back four, even if we didn’t really carve out anything concrete other than Miggys disallowed goal. Still have a good shout of finishing top half which is frankly miraculous.

Bruno had a tough game there. Thought he started to come into it a bit more after about the hour mark, but Liverpool were all over him every time he got the ball before that.

Aye, their plan worked tbh they targeted the press on Bruno knowing Willock and Shelvey would do fucking nothing. I’m not having a real go at those two btw it’s tough opposition but we really need quality in.

Well done to Liverpool mind, beating the only team in world football to have spent money in January.

Dubravka played well, Shelvey played some nice passes but ultimately he doesn't have the legs against a side with pace. ASM again frustrating, could have so much more impact laying off passes instead of taking the extra touch. Thought the back 4 did well overall even when they raced forward with men over..

VAR breathes a sigh of relief as Mane is taken off before they have to review him going studs up into our keepers thigh

This isn’t being mentioned by the pundits, funnily enough. The referee needs to fucking explain this, if that occurred in CM he’s getting a ban but it’s ok when he does it to a keeper?

We should do what Everton have done and go to the people.

Liverpool are protected like Man Utd were under that red nosed porridge eating cunt.

BTW What happened with their goal? Did Schar foul Milner or did Milner foul Schar?

 50:50

Milner got the ball but the follow through grounded Schar. It wasn’t intentional so rightly, no foul was given. Our complaints afterwards were fairly muted.

This is the type of response at that picture btw  hope they can point everyone to where the rule book states it’s fine as long as your eyes are on the ball, or you don’t intend to hurt the player. It was literally a studs up above the knee challenge, how on Earth can anyone object?

Milner got the ball but he was fairly studs up. One of those that could have easily been blown up if it was the other way

There'll be 20 fouls given like that this weekend against other teams.
