If you're going get Leukaemia it may as well be this one. It's remitting/relapsing so they just keep an eye on your bloods every 6months and give you treatment as/when you need it. You can have it and be symptom free for years. Edit - I'm guessing it's CLL with Eales btw. Hopefully he stays well as long as possible Edited September 27 by Kid Dynamite
Gemmill 43513
I don't think it's related to the recent unrest with Howe/Mitchell. It's not the boss that makes way in a situation like that. Hopefully he does have the version you mention though.

Ayatollah Hermione 13709
Hopefully he makes a full recovery. The fact he’s staying on until a successor is appointed, which I imagine takes a decent chunk of time for a role like his, hopefully suggests they’ve caught it early and he can continue to keep busy

Gemmill 43513
Wonder if this might signal the Reubens stepping away from day to day involvement too, if this new bloke is their proxy on the Board.

"Well hello from my front room and a quick podcast about Newcastle's massive headache about building their new stadium. Oh! Didn't you know? There's an old mine underneath, methane gas leaks and the other bit of land they'd need is old marshland and prone to flooding. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news and all that." Gemmill 43513
I assume they're the go-to for stadium redevelopment, in the absence of anyone else with property experience (until now). A typically pedantic intervention from you though.
