It'll be interesting to see what forward line Howe goes with. With Bruno's return will he go back to the tried and trusted Joelinton-Wilson-Almiron style? I'd like to see him being a bit more adventurous and try ASM-Wilson-Isak but maybe a cup final isn't the time for experimentation.

He'll not drop Almiron although I think that might be our strongest front 3. Hopefully we get to Wilson and Isak in the same team before too long.

I think ASM after that game at the weekend should be in.

Ooooh, I don't know how you dare.

I just hope we don't play a rush goalie again.

i think that's the best option, using ASM off the bench, but he may well have played his way into the side with his performance against liverpool.

the other thing is ASM tends to do well against better attacking sides because there is more space for him to run into. he's much worse against sides that park the bus and put two or three players on him. i don't think Man U will come out like that so it might be a good game for him to start.

Re Maxi.  Before he got injured he played a superb game v City.  Then he has done v Liverpool.  Just got to think v Man United back line he will be the same.  Hopefully with 11 players he will have more options to pass to.

He appears to struggle against teams that bully him and are aggressive against him. or put in a *cough* low block *straightens tie* ;)

Karius

Trippier Schar Botman Burn

Longstaff Bruno Joelinton

Almiron ASM

Wilson

Willock and Isak to be introduced around the hour mark.

Man Utd will want to double up on Bruno and ASM so that should leave gaps to exploit. I expect Man Utd to come onto us more so there should be space behind for Almiron and ASM. Rashford is in amazing form. Hoping for a few reducers from Barcelona on their visit to Old Trafford.

I like this.  Isak is mint and the small space he can turn is superb.  But on Sunday I think he could be better from the bench.

Mostly because I think Wilson can handle the pressure of that game more than Isak can. I think it's a rare occasion where you go with the most settled side, rather than the one with the most ability.

Is Ashby, that young rightback from West Ham available?

Not match fit yet. Can't see him being included seeing as Manquillo is available. Targett played for the U21s on Saturday so might make the bench.
