With the goal difference, an Everton draw and a win for them works too I think. I agree it's very risky though, think he believed that he had no chance of coming up here and trying to win.

Their only plan was to hope for a lucky goal which they nearly got in the dying minutes. There is nothing to complain about regarding our performance. We did everything right bar scoring. With just a wee bit more luck we would have had a cricket score tbh.
