David Kelly 1830
Interesting to see Howe's quote about his training performances. It's clearly something Howe feels is massively important and I get the feeling that it's something that Osula has taken some time to get his head around. I still don't think he's good enough to be starting for us against anyone but lower league opposition, but he now has three goals this season so hopefully it's a sign of him progressing.

Ultimately if osula looks the business in cup games against weaker opposition or can be good enough to not look too out of place if he can come on as a sub in PL games then eventually you sell on at a profit, rinse and repeat, that's one part we need to ramp up. (Obviously if he turns out to be really good we keep him and save a big transfer fee).
Christmas Tree 6540
It’s a shame with this lad as his almost departure a few weeks ago would imply a lack of faith in him from Eddie and co. He seems to be able to do quite a bit of stuff well at times. His first goal was excellently taken and finished, he was in the right position for the poach, A good save denied him a hat-trick and he had a good few chances on top of all that. He has the pace we are currently missing and at times can play well coming in from the wing. You would think with all that going on, there’s a chance he could come good if he can somehow lose the erratic behaviour. * I appreciate the opposition. Gemmill 61749
The lack of faith has been well backed up by his performances tbf. And the money was ridiculous and the player wanted to leave. If he can turn in performances like that in games against PL opposition, he might have a future here. Clearly from Howe's comments, they've started to see more from him in training recently.

I think it was HMHM who said when he arrived that Osula had been bought as a ‘development striker’ ie, buy cheap, improve, sell for a profit. That’s something (irrespective of this particular player) that we need to do much more of as a club. It’s a fairly ridiculous state of affairs for a club that is as well backed as we are but we all know about PSR and how it’s stacked so it is what it is.

Which, while not as profitable, is better than having to sell local lads who've been with the club since they were 6.

Christmas Tree 6540
Absolute madness to get rid in January unless we have another lined up.

Especially a loan deal. Obviously the Wissa situation has been a blow but it’s probably lead to a lot more game time for Osula. I’m not sure he’s the answer or ever will be but he’s been quite impressive and already looks better than I gave him credit for before this season Edited October 9 by Alex

Chaser 1892
Still cautious on Osula but I do hope he gets, and takes his chance.
Holden McGroin 9708
This praise is well over the top. After Leeds he was labelled shite. i hope he comes good but Wissa will be back soon so his time will be even more limited.

Holden McGroin 9708
Howe will always talk his players up. He’d be shite if he didn’t. The general feeling spreading is Big Willy is suddenly good now he has had a couple of good cameos. I love the Mad Beserker as well btw.
Craig 11904
I don't think he's the next mercurial talent, but I do think his performances in general have taken a massive leap forward this season and we need to recognise that. The performance at Leeds was more the exception than the norm.
Holden McGroin 9708
Unless Wissa or Big Nick get injured I can’t see him getting any game time soon. His status has massively grown recently though so we might get decent coin for him. Edited October 29 by Holden McGroin
