Ekitike also has 4 goals (5 if you include the community shield which is technically a competitive game so you should).

Pedro scored 3 at the CWC which could also be included putting him on 5.

Since when was the community shield deemed a competitive game by people other than supporters of teams who want to burnish their trophy count? :cuppa:

The Rat hasn't scored a PL goal has he (the useless cunt). Hasn't he only scored against lower league opposition in the Carabao Cup?

But but but he had to get into the position for that goal and that's how amazing he is to force the lower league team to totally fuck up.

The chart quite clearly states premier league goals

In which case Woltemade has 3, not 4.

As does Ekitike.

Its bollocks this!

Gordon on playing with Woltemade.... And he still seems to think he would have taken the penalty had he been on the pitch.

be interesting to know where howe stands on this actually.

gordon hitting them in the same place each time, or woltemade aiming for a spot where 99 times out of a 100 it ends up in block r upper gallowgate.

Just nice to have two very good penalty takers. Much better technique than that hideous stop and jump thing that Bruno produce a while back.

It's goals scored by premier league strikers since the season started. No by invitation only tournaments and no tinpot curtain openers.

Which would rule out 3 of Joao Pedro's goals as the CWC is bizarrely classed as last season.

Ah of course, and Ekitike is actually classed as an Enganche

I thought he was considered a punta type of attacante as opposed to a trequartista or fantasista. But what do I know? Italian Pmi GIF by The Pat McAfee Show

He's gone from 36th to 7th on The Athletic's list of best summer signings.

Meanwhile a certain Swedish rat has dropped from 5th to 87th...

danny murphy was lamenting the skinny cunt's lack of a preseason as one of the reasons behind the 3 game losing streak on match of the day the other night.

When I watched it back I think the two chances he missed weren’t the sitters they were made out to be. The one Sels blocked I’m not really sure what else he could’ve done, as it came so quickly. With the one off the bar it was nearly an excellent finish. A bit unlucky on both counts. And the passing stats are incredible given how many of his passes were forward ones that released a team mate.

Loads like these, obviously including the BBC and sky, are just reactive bollocks based on who's won or scored the previous weekend. Liverpool haven't looked brilliant but were going to walk away with it as they spawned a few results but now might be in transition? Sunderland look really good despite having the easiest and most fortunate set of circumstances with who they've played and still haven't played amazingly well, (by PL standards). We've been very solid but struggling to score, (we all know why) but this should be remedied yet we've struggled according to half the fuckers, we might have already had our season scuppered if we had real ambitions league wise but we're never finishing 11th. Isak the signing of the season until he's not. Ok.

There's only so long you can use that excuse. He was training in pre-season, just not with the squad so he has to have a certain level of fitness, it's not like he's just come back from injury. He's been with them five weeks now and doesn't look any better than on the day he joined.

"could very well become the best striker in the world now he's at Anfield"

He won't make anything like the progress he made at SJP, you stupid cunts. What you mean is you'll feel like you can say he's the best striker in the world now he plays for Liverpool.

I'm quite confident in the view that his stock will never be as high as it was in the 2nd half of last season. He'll score the odd goal here and there, but I reckon his fall from grace will be rapid. Liverpool to replace him in a couple of years.
