He hasn’t turned to shit but even with us he was  very streaky at times. That’s fine when you’re at little old Newcastle but at the bestest club in the world and as one of the most expensive transfers in history he’s going to be under an awful lot more scrutiny and we can but hope that he wilts under the spotlight.

This must've been where he got it from as he was an avid reader of that particular err "newspaper" . There's no doubting he's a quality player but the protracted nonsense over the summer has pushed him centre-stage. Every move he makes is up for hyper-scrutiny and I just don't reckon he'll be able to live up to the hype that's been put his way. 

I agree we wouldn't be saying it if he was still with us - he'd have been able to focus simply on the football.

Delighted to see that Wirtz has taken a similar plummet as Isak in that Athletic piece. 

 

Also the centre half we famously overpayed for has jumped from 70th to 10th and now looks like a "Rolls-Royce type". It's almost like Howe and co know what they're doing.
