 The problem is we don't feel like a Howe team anymore. Soft, no urgency, no fight. And it's been that way for sometime away from home. We can't just blame it on the Tino and Wissa injuries. 

 

And the fucking obsession with Burn at LB has to stop. I don't care if we have to play academy players in there. Just stop ffs

The two main problems are 

1) Woltemade doesn’t suit our style

2) Howes teams can’t play this amount of games, at the level of intensity he requires.

 

You can throw injuries to Tino etc into the mix but people saying this is the strongest squad we’ve ever had might want a rethink.

Even the last CL season we fucked with injuries and he turned it around as they came back and the gaps between games got bigger.

 

He doesn’t have as much of an injury issue this time or his cheerleaders in the board room.

 

I love Howe and I don’t want him out, but I can see cutthroat execs getting itchy trigger fingers soon.

Hall getting minutes v Athletic Club the other night and looking good too made it all the more perplexing. Starting Burn is one thing but not subbing him and giving Hall 30 minutes or so? It would have made sense if Burn was playing ok but I just don’t get it.
