Like so many other things it would’ve been satire about 3-4 years ago. Loads of these types strike me as friends of Aslan too. With their weird obsession with the military and the trying-too-hard to show they’re ‘real men’ with their opposition to everything from cappuccinos to vegan pasties. He really 'made it' when he was picked to referee a YouTube celebrity grudge boxing match (I know) between two monumental fuckheads who both had a combined sub count of about 40 million people. Since then his own sub count has ballooned, he's more of a celebrity talk show kinda guy now, and yeah, people like Gervais give him the time of day. He has literally forced the world to make him big. I may think he's a twat, but its hard not to admire his drive.
