People have also said a pay-as-you-play deal would be good but the problem with that is that it's bad craic if a player is doing well with the knowledge in the back of his mind that he'll make way as soon as Woodgate gets off the fitness table (and also has to step in when he inevitably breaks down again). Then again, if some of the rumours about him are true then he's not worth it. The effects of a night out on a minor injury are easily felt, so that would just be taking the piss.
