I upgraded in January and for my new build I got the following:

Clicky for Motherboard

Clicky for processor

and of course now are a fair bit cheaper than I paid.

i was looking at that processor ! its 2.4ghz 1mb

but the 2.2ghz 1mb version is £100 cheaper so i think i'll go with that one.

motherboards a bit trickier. i dont need any of the sli gubbins and i'm not interested in gaming on my pc (other than fm2006). so an onboard video card will do me fine.

was looking at this un - http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/102903

ive already got 1gb of 333mhz ram so that should be compatible until i can afford to upgrade to 2x1gb 400mhz ram

ive got 10000rpm sata raptor drive to use as my OS drive so this proposed system should be blisteringly fast

thats pretty good - but you may be able to get it down to around 20 seconds with a few tweaks and a following wind.
