Roberts' arrival follows hot on the heels of the signing of Francis Jeffers on Monday on what completes a busy day in the transfer market at Ewood Park. The former West Brom star has signed a four-year deal at Rovers after agreeing personal terms and passing a medical. Roberts had been seeking a move away from Wigan for the last month after turning down a new deal at The JJB Stadium. The powerful striker also had a bust-up with Latics owner Dave Whelan last week and the club decided to let Roberts move on as he was unhappy.
