As revealed in last week's Sunday Sun, United have been offered the 27-year-old, pictured left, by Deportivo La Coruna. And I understand Eugenio Botas, the agent who brokered Albert Luque's move from Deportivo to Tyneside, has held detailed talks with United about Duscher in recent days. Although Manchester United and West Ham have expressed interest in him, Duscher has told friends he is sold on a move to Newcastle. And he is threatening to see out the remaining year of his contract at Deportivo and leave for nothing next summer if they demand too high a price for him now.
