Jesus wept. :D I know this is just a rumours thing and it's probably complete bullshit, but is there ANYONE out there still confident that we're going to get the right people in before the window closes.

If we are in for the likes of Camara by the way, I'll say it again - Hasselbaink, for free, already living in the area. No brainer for everyone bar Roeder.

Are you joking? He was at Boro man. If he'd play for them he'd play for anyone. He's now gone to Charlton. He would have snapped Roeder's hand off.

When I heard this on Talksport this morning I immediately ridiculed it.

However, I soon got worried when I considered the rumour that Portly Freddie and the geezer (name escapes me right now) at Wigan are supposed to be big buddies :D;)

Surely not? Surely not.

Chillllaaaax.

Why is it that whenever we're linked with someone good, people pooh-pooh the idea we could get them, or even if the story is true, but if we're linked with someone shit, everyone gets all up in ams.

Dave Whelan? I don't think so. There was a rumour that we'd approached Wigan about stealing Jewell from them as Freddy had reportedly been seen playing golf with Whelan in Barbados but Whelan denied even knowing Freddy was there. Maybe thats where you got it from?

Burglars are understood to have broken into Everton winger Andy van der Meyde's house when he was taking part in Howard Kendall's testimonial against Athletic Bilbao on Saturday - and they escaped with a £12,000 necklace, eight Rolex watches, his Ferrari, his BMW Mini Cooper and his pet dog Mac. His Ferrari has since been found. The 26-year-old Dutchman was taken to hospital last week after claiming his drinks had been spiked on a night out and was fined by the Toffees for socialising two days before a match. (The Guardian)

He's not having a very good month, is he?
