Another new discovery: Airbourne - A new Aussie rock band.

Large double shot of AC/DC, tblspoon of 80's Metal and maybe a dash of Aerosmith.

Shake it up and serve loud in either speakers or headphones.

A little clichéd but definitely palatable. They play in Manchester tomorrow night and I can't get a ticket.

They have a huge fan base here in Australia. A mate from Melbourne that plays drums for a number of local bands raves about them.

Thanks for the link, although I'm not sure what it has to do with Airbourne :P

I've listened to the album about 5/6 times now and I'm definitely liking it. I believe they did the 25th anniversary of Bon Scotts death recently and did it well.

You can't get their EP over here though, which is a shame.

Nothing, it's what I was listening to, the point of the thread.

Now I'm listening to swervedriver - juggernaut's ride disc 1

Back to airbourne, ready to rock is impossible to get anywhere.

Keep an eye on ebay or places like www.redeye.com.au if you really want it.

I spent yesterday listening to Blue Cathedral by Comets on Fire and as much as I really enjoyed it, it's not as good as Avatar. Can't wait for a new one.

Today it's been In The Future, the new Black Mountain one. I think I like it better than the eponymous album, even though there's nowt as good as Modern Music and the fella sometimes strays into Ozzy mode on it.
