  1. Hello lads,

I'm an Evertonian and I'm looking for ten Newcastle lads to share a hospitality package with 60 blues before the upcoming game.

In short, we run a hospitality lounge before each home game in Players Lounge on County Rd, which is around a three minute walk to the ground.

Each game we offer the away side the chance to bring a table of ten fans to enjoy the day with us.

Would anyone on here be up for it ??

In short, the package costs £35 per person and for your money you get 2 hours before the match and an hour-fifteen after the match in a private lounge that seats 70.

Whilst in the lounge you get a curry before the game and all your drinks included.

After the game we always have an ex blue speaking and signing autographs etc and for this game the speaker is Pat Van Den Hauwe who is over from South Africa for the week.

Our first game against Wolves was a cracking day, hence were doing it each game now.

If any of you lads are planning on having a good pop on the ale then this may well be worth a go for you as in and around the ground a fair few bars charge £3 a bottle nowadays on matchday !!

Weve got a few details on our website evertonevents.co.uk and I'll add a couple of pictures of the venue so anyone interested can have a look.

Failing that, theres a few details on ebay under "Everton hospitality".

Hopefully we can get a table of Geordies in for a good day.

Finally, a minibus driver will be admitted free of charge if needs be.

    Cheers Lads, Paul

Sounds fantastic mate. Will we get kicked out if we sing ferry across the Mersey?

  2. He looks about 15...

Plus he seems to only score tap-ins and misses a lot of chances. That is if the Youtube video is anything to go by, which normally they aren't. Therefore if this guy doesn't look good on Youtube and Nacho Gonzalez does, then this guy must be bloody awesome. Reverse psychology and all that.

    Wise words.......

  3. McFaul was crapped on from a great height by Seymour Jnr. With Gascoigne & Goddard sold by the board, they held him solely responsible when his replacements didn't meet upto expectations even though he mustered a win at Anfield.

Let's not forget that one of his summer signings (Beasant) was sanctioned by the board ahead of his cheaper first choice on the grounds that Beasant was proven in this league and they young Danish keeper he wanted wasn't. Whatever did happen to Peter Schmeichel btw? :(

The other mistake that summer IMO was selling McDonald but unfortunately that one was Willie's own doing....

    Even SAF makes mistakes Craig.

  4. Given was meant on a canny bit less than the likes of Smith as well. Must have been a no-brainer for him tbh.

That would piss anyone off, but I dont think Willie McFaul would have left in the same circumstances as Seamus. Just my opinion like.

I don't really think despising a player for not being as loyal as Willie McFaul makes much sense. But to put it in context did the club ever basically tell Willie McFaul he wasn't wanted and did he have the richest club in the world touting him at the same time? It's comparing apples and oranges. I'm a bit bitter about Given (and not solely from the point of view of him being more or less forced out) if I'm being honest, but I think calling him a 'Judas cunt' is a bit out of order. MM is of course entitled to his opinion.

Aye, I agree with what your saying, but there are an awful lot of people who dont know the full story, me being one of them, who cannot understand what happened. Willie Mac is also in my opinion the best Newcastle keeper in my time supporting them and would have received more international recognition had it not been for Pat Jennings. Keep in mind that WM is credited in some corners with bringing Beardsley and Gascoigne along to some degree.

I can only remember McFaul from his time as manager but from what I remember he seemed like a gent.

Aye there are people around on this board who saw him play, then manage and have a very high opinion of him. Rightly so. That does not justify despising anyone mind.

  6. come on now everyone, lets not forget the 3rd place playoff game

Meaningless game, don't know why FIFA bother.

Odds are the germans will go all out to get Klose his record, would rather see it held by a player like Ronaldo tbh, than broken in a 3rd place game by a player nowhere near his calibre

My mate's got a Spain / Villa top-scorer double and he was quite chuffed until I mentioned I could see Klose scoring a hattrick in the 3rd place play-off. I hope he doesn't as I think he's a pretty ordinary player.

Ouch! Spain/Klose is a sensible bet if there is a such a thing. My guts are saying Holland/Sneijder but that might be down to the jalapenos from yesterday. 10 quid might get you 40 back for all three individual bets at Paddies right now.

  7. If you hate ashley, you cant also hate Given for fucking off.

Maybe the next time anyone bumps into Peter Beardsley they can ask him to explain what happened, unless he already has. Surely he is ITK.

Someone give Krul a shout on msn :(

Does he know like? Can someone give Willie MaFaul a shout on msn? :D

  8. some of my oldest and best mates are mackems so i have to disagree with stevie's sweeping generalisation about those from the 'wrong side of the river'

Say absolutely nee more about you like. Say nee more.

you not got any mackem friends like stevie? you should give them a chance, they're not nazis

I worked there for four years, shagged one, of about 500 mackems I met, five were decent, and only two of the blokes were good lads.

Bitter bastards. "Stea-ve did yow knowaaah that Soonnlun is a beegur citea, than Nyeeewwwwwwwwcassul?"

So you were shagging a lass from there. Does that make you a Mackem lover?

  9. i'm glad to see spain in the final rather than the krauts, they were by far the better footballing side. plus you've got arguably the two best teams never to have won a world cup between them fighting it out. nice to see a new country will be adding a star to its kit rather than germany getting another.

I agree with most of that, although Holland are also arguably one of the best sides never to have won it. Bookies say Spain, I would love to see Holland.

  10. Keeper - Super Shay

    Defender - Albert

Midfield - Rob Lee or Pedro

Striker - Sir Les or Tino(for pure entertainment value)

it's close between Lee and Pedro for my all time favourite

Super Shay do you mean the judas cunt who fucked us off in our hour of need please replace with Willie McFaul a true legend and who stuk around through thick and thin.

    Harsh but fair.

Hardly fair like. He was more or less told to fuck off.

Was he? I didnt know that.

  12. Its like a Meenzer dream :D

Is that the; "Dream Caused by the Flight of a Bee around a Pomegranate One Second Before Waking Up?"

    Truly surreal.

    Nice Dali reference.

I spotted that too  , whilst hearing 'Extreme's - Flight of the Wounded Bumblebee' in my head :o

Used to have a huge print of 'Dream caused..' up in my room at Uni

    Ah the persistence of memory.

  13. I quite like him but I'd worry he's played a decent role in well-drilled sides like Everton and Birmingham and might be hung out to dry a bit here. But he'd improve the squad. Whoopy fucking doo.

Do you think there is any truth in the Cleverly and Rose rumours? Would not mind Cleverly up here even if only on loan. Will add a bit of energy to our midfield.
