  1. Not the first time I've heard a mackem try and make out that a Geordie doesn't consider you our main rivals.

That's cos we've had a fair few of your lot ower on our place who seem to consider Man U your biggest rivals these days.......

  2. Really? I think you're speculating at the moment, but you're obviously hanging on every bit of gossip about us.

Hardly, I heard this news as I was responding to Tom's post, wondered what your opinions were that's all.

  3. I'm not using it as an insult, I'm stating it as a representation of your behaviou

    Ok Sunderland fans are deluded.

    There we go. Same foundations.

    Heard nowt on Colo tbh.

Talksport and BBC* reporting it. Would be a big loss for you's judging by your own opinions of him.

    *allegedly

I'd be more impressed by the BBC than Talksport. Would be a big loss imo if we did sell him, and probably motivated more by his wages than his ability as Tom says.

Nice that you're taking such a keen interest in us by the way

Alway's nice to see your rivals selling who they themselves regard as their best players, I'm sure you'll agree.

  5. That's why we call you deluded, because you tend to live in your imaginations.

You use 'deluded' as an insult but you appear unaware that the connotations are only ever fictional, this is what we call irony.

Tell us what we are ''deluded'' about. See if you can get anything genuine...

I'm not using it as an insult, I'm stating it as a representation of your behaviour. Couple of posts on here suggesting I bit or backed down for a start when I didn't.

    Anyway, Collocini..?

  6. Meanwhile in Black Cats evil lair...

    Not the brightest, was he?

Eh? Not one of you got me to bite or back down man. That's why we call you deluded, because you tend to live in your imaginations.

Btw, what you think of Collocini having a medical in Spain?

  7. Nah - he's there to fund his alcoholic podge face - in all honesty if you wanna end this someone just whip out the sunderland season ticket renewal vid. There's no coming back from that.

Aah waz there when Amaazmoaah Gyaaaan said he wanted to gan ta Spurs

Aah waz there when 10'000 of me mates watched it in tha pub on dodgy foreen telly rather than gannin to the match

Aah waz there when they ran out of cheesy chips

Knew he'd pipe down at the mention of that

  8. Hmmmm, not sure about that. Sunderland has spunked loads of money away under Bruce, and not really got anywhere. Also, Bent has gone, as has Jones who people rate, and Gyan may follow. Hardly building for the future really. Nor is attempting to buy Man Utd's offal like Brown and O'Shea for vastly inflated fees. Bruce has pissed your future up the wall and should be sacked.

I wouldn't say £12 million for the 3 of them was vastly over inflated, didn't want Brown anyway though.

  9. Ha'way man, he's not exactly to everyone's taste, including some Sunderland supporters, but ffs at least he's not just there to pay off a gambling debt.

Do you really believe that's why Pardew's there?

    :D

Nor, we all know that's why he's there :D

  10. Really?

I would be seriously worried about next season if I were you, Your going to have to spend like fuck and I think Ellis is a little fed up with Quinn's promises.

If you didn't somehow fluke tenth Bruce would have been sacked but for me it just papers over the cracks of a truly gash manager.

How much do you reckon you'll get for Gyan by the way?

Ha'way man, he's not exactly to everyone's taste, including some Sunderland supporters, but ffs at least he's not just there to pay off a gambling debt.

  11. There's lots of things a club your size haven't been able to do - for better for worse!

Here's a link in regards to transfer money spent and received.

    Clicky

We've spent more than you - but we've achieved way more - and we've recouped more than twice as much as you.*

(Additional to this you've spent more per season, i.e ours is over a 17 year period, yours is over a 10 year period - because you were a yoyo club)

*Like this season when you fluked finishing above us the premier league still gave us more money than you - by about £2m - from TV money, that must be frustrating!

Haven't been able? There's a difference between being able to do something and doing it. Looking at your current plight, would you say that you were 'able' to do those things?

  12. Yes, they are more likely to qualify, but I am saying that they will not (and neither will we.)

Only a mackem would take this long to understand something so simple. You can disagree with my prediction, but you're not even getting that far because you're too thick to properly understand it.

Last time (only time) Sunderland AFC were in Europe: 1974.

Last time NUFC were in Europe: 2006.

It's better to have walked the heights and fallen then never to have risen, my good mackem.

The thing is with predictions only time will tell, however looking at the set-up's of both our clubs now and with one eye on the future, I feel at ease to suggest that any positive steps taken towards the heights of football in the north east are more likely to be taken by ourselves. You can keep your past and all it's 'glories' (:tee-hee:) it's the future we're aiming for.

  13. You spunked vast amounts of money away

You've spent more Net. Where has it left you?

No European football, no title challenges, no real star players, no cup finals, 2 finishes in the top 10, empty stadium, 2 record relegations etc etc.

Somehow I doubt that. We may have never had the things you've mentioned, but we've also never paid a player £1.3 million a goal

  14. Ok I'll explain - He's saying that Newcastle & Liverpool wont be seeing any magical european nights in the near future - that's what we have in common - that we wont qualify.

    Here's another cool video

I was right behind the goal in the leazes end for this. Amazing but as youth my and my brother and several others kept shouting out abuse at Buffon's pink top!

We won the match 1-0. Griffin scored. Due to some odd Champions League rule we were playing in our away kit at home!

But that's nonsense though isn't it. Liverpool have a far greater chance of qualifying than you.

  15. And you'd know all about those 'Magical Europeans' wouldn't you pal! Got you pegged (innuendo implied)

Also, i'd say we've had a fair few more stunning matches in that range than your lot could even count (assuming you can count)

    Catch you in Milan matey

Where's it all left you though? You spunked vast amounts of money away, have absolutely nothing to show for it, and are now suffering for the lack of leadership of your previous owners. Not to mention your new one's, who employed a manager simply to pay off his gambling debt to the chief exec...

  16. Does it really matter? Both our trophy hauls we ages ago. (Strange how you didn't mention F.A cups or european trophies first like :D )

3 of you league titles were in the 1800's for fucks sake.

All we have to go on is recent achievements.

Additional to this you have misread my friend acrossthepond's post. Read it properly!

Not when you think how much more important the league title is. :D

And I'm still not convinced I read his post wrong, on the contrary I think I read it how he wishes to believe it, however untrue...

  17. Did you misread? I didn't say magical European nights were in common with us, I said it'll be a while before either of our clubs are having them again.

And then there's your lot, who...hang on.....

I misunderstood nowt, you basically suggested that you've shared 'magical european nights' with Liverpool, which is utter shite.

  18. Shola Ameobi (12) has scored 7 more goals in European competition than Sunderland AFC (5).

    Don't talk about Europe mackem.

My post was aimed at the delusion of your fans, who think they can compare themselves to Liverpool in europe.

But seeing as you've brought records up, how many league titles you won?

  19. Couldn't care less what he won or didn't win anywhere else. For Liverpool he's always been a winner, player and manager. I doubt the core fans will ever be on his back, he owes us nothing and has given us some of the greatest days and nights a football fan could hope to expect. I personally think Kenny will take us back in to Europe, hopefully the CL, can't stand the way the UEFA cup has gone, it's less than the League Cup now, and our not being in it this coming season is the best thing that could've happened at the present time.

But the 1st of September is the best time to judge clubs squads and debate where they might finish, not a fortnight before the window even opens officially.

Fair play, nobody is expecting you to turn on a club legend, but I think you are in for a tough time of it this season. Your fortunes improved last season because the players and fans both wanted Dalglish and got him (and because you sold Torres.) But your squad has a lot of dross that needs shifting and is weak in several key areas, and meanwhile King Kenny is blowing 20m on an extremely underwhelming midfielder who wasn't particularly good for club or country, and of course he has something of a history of being pretty awful in the transfer market.

I think it'll be a while before you're having those 'magical European nights' again. You have that in common with us.

Erm..... other than the fact it's only 6 years since they won the champions league, and have won it a total of 5 times, then... hang on.......

    :blush::D :D

    DELUDED!!!
