1. heard nowt but bad things about this 155539 worse than Aeon Flux which is saying something. Finally got round to watching Silent Hill. Rubbish. Some good fan service that brought a few smiles but overall another shit game/movie tie in.
2. I think it also had a lot to do with McClaren but lets look on the bright side at least we have a new manager... Svens got to take part of the blame but you cant mae him a complete scapegoat and forget the players role in it all either. We just arent good enough.. basic technique, maintaining possesion.. ego's not wanting to do the work but wanting to grab the headlines.. these arent Svens fault
3. The holding midfielder was supposed to allow Gerrard and Lampard the freedom to play further up the pitch, so how come they both keep dropping deep and want to take the ball of people rather than recieve a pass? The BBC lot are quick to blame the manager but wont criticise the players at all. If they arent disciplined enough to play the role they've been designated thats their fault. Rooneys isolated because the midfield is dropping too deep.
4. What the fuck has my liking of Cradle of Filth got to do with anything? Do they provide the soundtrack for the movie? Do they star in it? The script is brilliant, and the acting is certainly not laughable. The film merely sets out to entertain on a shoestring budget, which it does. If you don't like it, fair rnough, but that certainly doesnt make it shite does it? Fucktard. 155148 its fair enough to have a different opinion but then Im a Fucktard? all because I dont like a film you do Brock? Cradle of Filth has nothing to do with the movie , never said it did.. it has everything to do with your lack of taste though little fella.... calm down its supposed to be a light hearted joke. If you look at the first post you'll see a little smiley face sticking his tongue out. its a slasher movie, the script is far from brilliant, it doesnt need to be but dont dress it up. Cary Elwes is one of the worst actors ever, he outdoes himself in Saw. Again, the sequel stars Donnie Wahlberg ffs! calm down, ring the german girl and snap one off into a sock
5. I would have thought it success counts against any cult status.. not for A cult film is a movie that attracts a small but devoted group of obsessive fans or one that has remained popular over successive years amongst a small group of followers. Often the film failed to achieve mainstream success on its original release, but this is not always the case. and as for being in a majority.. since when did the majority have taste? Its shit Brock. You like it , thats fine but then you like Cradle of Filth too. Its a ridiculous , cheap script, laughably acted and the "oh my never" big surprise is kind of spoilt by the fact that the actor lying on the floor happens to have played the badguy in every B movie since 1970. The sequel stars Donnie Wahlberg ffs!
6. What a load of fucking shite. Funny thing is though, we'd all love it if Owen preferred us to England, yet Lampard gets shit for allegedly preferring Chelsea. agree with that like part of the beckham problem imo is he often tries to play centrally. Having him there and someone who is prepared to play RM would give the midfield a much better shape. As to what he offers over Lampard.. 10 times the passing ability. Gerrard already offers what Lampard does, and I know you'll disagree, plus more.
7. very convenient. Can see him getting dropped it being blamed on the injury.
8. its Sandman and Harrys goblin in this one. The belltower was part of the cartoons storyline so I reckon we'll see Spidey get rid of the suit just before the final fight and then we'll be teased with the the symbiote attaching itself to Eddie Brock setting up Venom for film no.4.
9. Brock likes Saw and even more damning Saw 2 so his views on any film should be instantly dismissed I like how this film's setting up the Venom storyline with Venom being the main baddy in the next film. In the comics spiderman gets the symbiote as a replacement suit from an alien machine in the 'Secret Wars' storyline. In the cartoon it was Jamesons son who brings it back from space.
10. C'mon, lets be fair it was never a penalty. Funnily the cheating wop has just been quoted on Sky Sports news denying he dived, acording to him "his leg got stuck between the defenders legs". I thought he'd went over Neills shoulder meself. Should be banned one game for cheating and another for taking the piss
11. only saw it on the recap. Disgraceful decision where was the ref from?
12. just like Ive advocated myself. It wasnt aimed particualrly at you Gemmill , more the piece you quoted I did say one of the factors..which it certainly is. The question about Lennon starting was to show how pointless it is to make such statements. Saying we would be out if it wasnt for Beckhams freekicks is as meaningful as saying we wouldnt need to rely on them if someone else played. What ifs
13. .. a bit? I dont think he should be dropped but you cant just simply excuse him by saying where would we be without him. Its not that simple, you have to take account of how his form affects the teams performance from open play. His performance at RM is one of the main factors in why we arent creating any chances. Maybe if Lennon started we wouldnt have to rely on his set pieces??
14. Figo should have been off and if the ref had booked players for diving there'd have only been 3 or 4 left on the pitch. Portugal without Deco and possibly Ronaldo.. working out alright for lucky Sven
15. That HIS choice not to do that anymore though Lazarus. Its his choice to keep dropping deep and infield. The last two games he's obviously been instructed to stay out wide more but he tends to sulk a bit when he isnt involved. He's still not getting forward enough and his workrate the past two games has dropped considerably. Now if we're going to continue to indulge him, considering what he still does bring, he should be brought into the centre instead of Lampard. He's a waste at RM
16. Carrying too many players who arent producing. Seems , like Beckham, Lampard is undroppable regardless of how he is playing. Even when subs were made we saw Cole and Gerrard go off and Lampard stay on the pitch Another good game from Hargreaves. Just gets on and does his job. Due to the squad I dont think we have any other option but to stick with this system. I cant see how with only two fit strikers we can play 2 up front. Leaves you with zero cover if anything goes wrong. Too big a risk, especially as Rooney isnt fit. Drop Lampard, bring Beckham inside and play Lennon on the right.
17. nice one but I was looking at it as 16 - 4 we had bellamy, we sold him for 4, we bought Owen for 16. Yougetme?
18. That wasn't the question. At this exact moment in time, would you swap? 152162 at any time I'd take Bellamy and 12m
19. thats how Ive had it too Gemmill. Apart from I'd have Lennon and Cole more advanced.. more 4-3-3 than 4-5-1... or is that 4-1-2-2-1 in an FM2006 stylee. if we had Defoe he could come straight in for Owen and we could still play 4-4-2. I dont think we have the players for that now. it could be blessing in disguise as Sven may be forced into making a change in the system.
20. which is coming out on 360 in September ish iirc. Its a brand new game and engine built from scratch on the 360 too
21. I concur thin lips and all round stumpyness.. *shudder*
22. whats red and screams? A skinned baby covered in salt
23. Franz Beckenbauer filling up his motor in Austria
