3. if the ports in use by Azureus it wont show as open. Also for a long time after Azureus is shut down you'll be getting traffic on that port so it may still show up as closed. Just a guess but I wouldnt worry about it Just thought ....I did have a problem with Azureus and my router. The thing just stopped picking up new connections so after an hour or so the speed would drop. All to do with UPnP. Turned that off in the router and everything was OK.
4. yeah was scrolling down and was just about to mention firewalls.. change the default port from 6881 or whatever it is. Some ISPs block that port. Even if you've got plenty of seeders It can still take a while before things get up and running so sometime you have to be a little patient. I use Azureus too and its by far the best one Ive used
5. Pauly is class "If it was me this kid was spreading rumours about he'd have something up his own arse" "and it wouldnt be a cock neither!"
6. To again play your game Leazes, answer the questions please. What have been the achievements of Shepherd the chairman? What has he done that has improved the club since he took over in Dec 96? The things you keep attributing to him were in place before he took over as chairman. Hes continued the good work, no doubt. To his credit I dare say he's had a positive impact financially with stuff like Goal! and The Match. Whether this is done for the good of the club or for himself, who knows, for a different discussion. He'd have to be an idiot to ruin the work that SJH did when he was chaiman but he's come very close with relegation being a real possibility under Souness. Why does it make more commercial sense to sack the manager in February after he spent millions than before the season starts? These are points YOU'VE raised yourself many times Why orchestrate a smear campaign against Bellamy that does nothing but lower his market value? I dont disagree that Shepherds hands were tied and I cant criticise for actually selling Bellamy but are you going to say he couldnt have handled it better? Does he not deserve some criticism for the inflated contracts some of our players are on? For example Dyer Like I said I dont blame him for everything, I dont think he's the worst chairman out there. Unlike you though I dont have a blinkered stubborn view that the man is infallible. You will never criticise him apart from admitting he made a mistake in appointing Souness. For some reason now though it suits you to say he didnt make a mistake in not getting rid of him sooner. I'd rather have a board and chairman that dont come across as second hand car dealers at best. I'd rather have a board and chairman that has a long term, well thought out plan rather than continuously making reactionary decisions like Shepherd. I'd rather have a board and chairman that have some intergrity and dont use the club to line their own pockets like Dougie and Freddie. It might not be possible but why should that stop me wanting it?
7. he should have sat them both down and told them to work it out. He could have loaned him out for another season. What he shouldnt have done, and is a negative against his chairmanship, is orchestrate a smear campaign and get himslef quoted in the press about how Bellamy had done this and that and how Shearer was going to knock seven bells out of him. All it did was compound the fact we were desperate to sell and knock down his market price.
8. you're right I cant tell when you're taking the piss especially when nearly every thread on NO has you accusing people of Shepherd bashing (your new little wanktastic buzz phrase) Again I havent seen anyone solely blame Shepherd when we lose, but when we continuously lose due to a bad appointment made by him then he has to shoulder some of the responsiblilty. Especially when he perservered with that appointment when it was obvious to most that he was inept. Of course you know this and agreed with it when it suited you. Shepherd isnt the worst chairman we've had but it also doesnt make him the best and 100% guaran fucking teed doesnt make him immune to criticism. Hes Teflon coated as far as you're concerned. Have a problem with Dyer on 80K a week? Its not Freddies fault of course ,he only negotiated the contract. Have a problem with Bellmay leaving? Nowt to do with Fred, he only fucking sold him. You're insane! You are the one who keeps stating Shepherds achievements. Laughably time and time again you somehow give him credit for selling out 52000 seats every match. I dont think the clubs current position is solely down to SJH but its down to him a hell of a lot more than it is Shepherd, the chairman YOU continuously say is repsonsible for this and that. A fucking stupid statement after another fucking stupid statement. Yet again you cant have it both ways. Huge increase in turnover, huge increase in fanbase, Improved stadium and expansion, ability to sign international players for millions of pounds. All of these were in place before Shepherd took over as chairman. I dont think these achievements are solely down to one man yet you somehow do and to top it off the wrong one.
9. Haven't seen any congratulations to Fred yet for yesterday and the recent good run ! And for being the 5th most successful club in the premiership in the last decade too... [3 games from going clear in 5th place] Shame Gol, or you, or most of the rest of your mates, can't answer the questions, using your understanding and knowledge of the football club 122893 Congratulations Shepherd for not getting rid of Souness earlier. The good run could have been a good season if Shepherd hadnt of cocked up and kept Souness on instead of getting rid in the summer. I cant believe you of all people would say otherwise 122918 So it's Fred fault we don't win every game we play ? No point talking to you people, you're obviously little kiddies, with no idea other than what you found during the Keegan roller coaster. The possible financial aspects of not getting rid of a manager has been explained over and over again, it's schoolboy stuff, you should ask an accountant to explain - on second thoughts, don't. Thanks for answering my questions Gol. Ask your dads what a shit chairman really is, you know, when they stopped going ... and dreamed of playing in europe, filling the stadium with 52,000 fans, buying England players and appointing trophy winning managers. 123095 I didnt say that Leazes and if you cant see how one of your posts contradicts another then you truly have lost it. You've said yourself that Shepherd made a mistake with Souness and not getting rid of him sooner. So why now have you flipped that round to being something that should be worthy of praise? What financial implications? We had to pay up his contract just like we would have had if we'd have got rid earlier or sooner. Financially speaking it made much more sense to do it in the Summer, before the season, when we had more cash. Tell you what , I'll play you at your own game. How about you list Shepherds achievements and dont include those ones that are down to SJH that you keep mentioning.
10. Where? when? I've been aquiring them as they air in the US. Up to episode 6 last night and that was possibly as funny as Pine Barrens. Season 6 is better than it's ever been and from what I hear it's going to turn seriously dark in the next episode. You might consider this a spoiler so I'll not mention names but a main character is going to get raped by another main character. 122987 Really! Should be finished dl'ding for when I get in. I take it Paulys in it a fair bit then. Just tell me the rape scene doesnt include Vito 122991 Pauly's hardly in it tbh, but his few comments are very funny. I'm probably building it up too much, I want to re-watch it because after 14 pints and a derby win I was laughing at my sandwich. And I'm afraid it does. 123006 :nufc: I can guess who's on the recieving end then poor lad

13. a week late T27 http://www.toontastic.net/forum/index.php?...5080&hl=mancini and my dubious rumour came from my mates insider horse fella who's mates with a bloke who owns the estate agents that sold him the flat. Frankly a much more trustworthy source

15. The current series, 6, is the last one. Yeah, specials, dunno if its that many though, and theres bound to be a movie. I thought the show dipped a bit at series 4, 5 was ok but 6 has been great so far
16. Ive had a crafty tenner but only got 45-1 at Ladbrokes
17. its supposed to be really good. There was talk of there being a shortage. Brock, there were games like Guitar Hero then too just like you can still get Zelda whatever and Final Fantasy 27
18. my mate burned me a copy years ago. The front of the DVD reads "Horrible Foreign Violence" Brock, as bad as the rape scene is its just as bad in the first few minutes.
19. maybe a daft question but what would the bookies pay out on if a pairing of Sven and Mancini came with Sven in a more DOF role and Mancini coach? I know its not likely but neither would be the manager in the traditional sense. Would they pay out on both?
20. you wont have to pay the £10 extra if you subscribe to sports or movies, which seeing as youre paying £45 Im guessing you have both.
