He won't have his make-up on there though, so his shadow is clearly visible. He must have put some serious effort in to this.

Can't underestimate the difference it made that the pressure was off. Also the visible relief after Souness went. See the Portsmouth game for evidence; the difference was ridiculous.

Briefly heard this story on the radio this morning. Mental.

Had a D750 for over a year and the joystick is fine. Just playing too many games tbh. Personally I wouldn't stray from S-E at present, I think they are superior in every way in terms of functionality and ease of use.

I'm not even sure the critisism of Bolton's playing style is fully justified anyway. Sure they use some pretty ugly tactics at times but they can also play pretty well when they have to. We're hardly in a position to critisise, a lot of our football has been awful for years.
-
Is that in the league? Not bad but I'm of the opinion his time as caretaker should not be taken into account, or at least this should be acknowledged as a confounding factor. Judging him after an entire season would be fairer. Must be League only yes, we've played more than 40 this year already in total.

Souness was: Played Won Drawn Lost For Against ...55......16......16......23...58.....76
-
Played Won Drawn Lost For Against ...40......20.......8......16...60.....46 Not bad IMO, all things considered. Can't for the life of me get this fucking thing to line up though. Why does adding spaces between the numbers not change anything?

What an awful tracksuit. -
That Maccarone article is priceless.

K800i. Well impressed so far.

Used to have a pic of (hopefully) my new car. New phone has some nice themes on it.

Good answer. I agree.

I don't give a shit who is below us tbh, only who is above us. I don't feel particularly chuffed that Southend get less in the ground than us.

Decent planning has qualified us for europe regularly over a decade, filled the stadium, bought major England internationals [including selling Jeanarse to a club with a "better plan"] and achieved the highest league positions in over 50 years. FACT. And - only 4 clubs - have "planned" better in the last decade. This is based on results, not fiction. And all with an incompetent in charge. So near and yet so far.

Plug in your mp3 player, go into My Computer, right click on the drive it's been assigned and click properties. Have a play with the Autoplay tab.

With some decent planning we might have got where we could have got to, never mind fucking '5th on average'.

Cole has still got that instinct to score goals IMO, however depressing his signing would be.

Nah, he'd just send a lego robot to do the job. -
Had missed too many games in the last couple of seasons too. Let's make an inquiry about Woodgate then. I know, lets go for Huth. He doesn't have a bad knee injury requiring surgery right now does he?
-
Sol Campbell is far better than anything we've got in that position. He'd also be a great influence on the youngsters in training working with a player of such calibre and experience. But he's over 30, so we didn't want him. Then we got Sibierski.

Gooch isn't far off.
