KidsCan Children’s Cancer Research Centre, are looking for brave supporters to take part in an adrenalin-fuelled Zip Slide! The Zip-Slide is taking part at the world famous Baltic Mill in Gateshead on Sunday 2nd October. Participants will launch themselves from the top of the Baltic at a height of 40m, before a 280m slide across the Tyne, landing on the Newcastle Quayside! Not for the faint hearted! This is a sponsored event and the money raised will go to the life saving research done by the KidsCan scientists, who are researching treatments for childhood cancers at Salford University.
