The dude turned up about quater past midnight and check the gas flow or something from the gas metre and indeed we had a leak... was coming from the cooker (which is what i thought) so we pulled it out from the wall and he disconnected it and sealed the pipe off. Gotta get someone out to install a new hose and re-connect it. Took him about an hour to sort it all out so didn't get to bed until half 1 and up at 6am to walk the dog... gonna be on the coffee's today I think!
