I'm having a hard time believing that the PL would so openly bloody the nose of an existing rights partner tbh...
Having said that, I also feel as though this wouldn't have happened without a conclusion having been reached one way or the other, unless the whole situation with NUFC is far less important to SA than we think it is.
My thoughts exactly, NUFC is just a side bet, the main pot is broadcasting across MENA

This alleged Perez medical is taking a long time to complete

If the club has been sold as reported (subject to 2 months worth of fuckin paperwork) then surely he can't be sold?

The Arabian bloke on twitter that gave us the timeline of tomorrow for a big announcement has apparently been confirmed as one of the sheikh's lawyers.
His Twitter feed portrays him more of a Journo and Manure fanboy than a lawyer, also a lawyer would surely be bound by confidentiality craic?

Bloomberg.com has NUFC listed as a recent aquisition by Bin Zayed Group LLC

Hopefully the loan is for £140m leaving £160m as the sale price and he fucks off.

West Brom apparently don't want to pay 100% of his £90k pw deal. We should be straight in there offering them full whack.
Absolutely! Cracking player, far better than we have now...and only 30k a week more than Colback

Fair enough. Point remains he's in a far better side with more scoring opportunities.
Also looking more likely to take Schurrle

Everyone knows he's a gambling man, and will the loss of £100m really make that much difference to his lifestyle? Definitely not, It's a bet he's more than willing to take, and a bet he has decided to take long before January.

Assuming it's not just out of pure spite, all I could suggest for the reason behind such a farce of a window is that Ashley's accepted he won't get what he wants in a sale and is therefore gambling that Rafa's connection with the fans keeps him here and his managerial ability keeps us up. We're just about coping so far, it's not like we're cut adrift at the bottom of the league and I don't think we've been in the bottom 3 since the opening weekend. So it probably seems like a decent bet.
He then takes the unspent transfer and TV money to top up whatever he gets from the sale, cuts his losses and runs. Not cut adrift...yet! The teams around us have strengthened this month though, so it could be just a matter of time.

No Slimani at all today for Leicester

Imagine if he turns out to be another Cole. Dreamland
We'd need another Beardo for that to happen

Gameiro would be my choice, I think he would hit the ground running.

It's alright lads. Dennis Wise has chipped in with some reassuring news that Mike Ashley is reluctant to sell because he only wants to sell to a buyer that is going to take the club forward and not sell to a buyer that is only coming in to make a quick buck from the next TV deal money.
That's a relief. We wouldn't want anyone like that.
What a snivelling little cunt he is!

Judging by her Wiki page, i'd say she is: "I'm just grateful to have been given the opportunities I've had so far. It's not about money — it wouldn't matter if I was making £8 million or £200 million. I just want to go to bed at night and shout "HOWAY THE LADS", before furiously finger blasting myself to photos of Shola

Newcastle United: Club Sold To PCP - Official

Surely the Reuben Bros must have looked at the club and thought how commercially viable it actually is. Easily affordable given their wealth, probably £100m to challenge for Europe, huge opportunity to expand their established interests in the region.
