Yep, you're absolutely right... If the new iPads were selling tomorrow, we'd still have no clue, thanks to Apple policy on new products. Furthermore, this pad lacks a webcam, no videocalls, imho this is a dealbreaker for such a device... But then again... if I get a 100€ discount...

This seems the right thread to annoy you with this! An acquaintance of mine won an iPad 16 GB in some contest last week, but he won't use it (in fact he barely knows what an iPad is) so he decided to sell it on eBay or put some ads somewhere else.. I reckon he'd sell it full price (here in Italy it's 499 €) since it's brand new. He wasn't explicit on that but made me that impression. So I told him that I'd be interested in the deal and asked him how much he'd make me pay. He went like and replied "make me an offer, I'll evaluate it and decide". Needless to say, I wouldn't pay full price, even though it's new, otherwise I'd just step in some shop and buy it. And btw, the newer versions are due next month (so I read). We both want to make a bargain, but I don't feel like haggling with him. So I took some hours to think about it and now I'm due to make an offer. I don't wanna offend him with a low offer, but I'd keep myself below 400€. What would you do if you were me? What would I do if I were you? Do I really need an iPad? Wouldn't a fancy jacket be a better deal for that amount of money? I'm full of doubts..

...that is, me! I'm an italian Cagliari Calcio supporter, and I'm a NUFC sympathiser too, for no apparent reason, but I'm glad to be. Honestly I must admit that I don't have much time to follow the Premiership, which makes me quite sad, but I watch the fictures on italian teletext in the weekends and I happen to be very happy when I see Newcastle win! Every now and then I watch a live match, too. What else? The first Champions League match I've ever attended live was Juventus-Newcastle here in Italy in 2002 (alas, Juve won 2-0), and, uh, I have a Newcastle shirt which I'm very proud of. I hope to partecipate actively in the forum, therefore I'm sorry in advance for every English mistake I'll be making from this moment on, and more generally, for the quality of my posts.
