Starting on an optimistic note, 2 - 0. Strange season start so far. Chelsea probably could have been down to 8 the way Luiz was carrying on. -
They also just got clocked by a pub team prior to this. Not a bright outlook at the moment. Think they're still on the express elevator and the cable's snapped.

As the big spenders put their check books away, the market will get a bit more realistic and we'll move. Way too early to panic. Except for the third kit... can't find it in fat bastard size (though I saw Ryder wearing one so maybe I am looking in the wrong places). -
Close as you can get to a non-answer really. I see no cause for alarm from that - at least where Rafa is concerned... Our prospects for improving are looking a bit more dire now though.

Apparently it's Wang Jianlin who is worth over $30 billion and owns 20% of Atletico Madrid. Just when it seems Ashley is starting to figure it out. Don't know if I like the look of this.

Absolutely. And can you imagine the conflict going on in the heads of Villa fans right now? The fashion in which they've just screwed Brighton, but they've handed us the league and the cunts absolutely hate us.

At the end of the day, well done Rafa and the lads. Not only have we bounced right back up our first year down, but have done so by winning the league.

Brighton lose, we draw and win it on GD. Brighton is ok with this as it softens expectations for the PL and takes some pressure off.
