Shoulder surgery is notoriously hit and miss when it comes to recovering full movement and becoming totally pain-free, but it depends what you're living with at the moment. Have you been referred to an ortho surgeon yet or is this advice from your GP? I'd be inclined to take the advice of a specialist in the area if it was me.

He's bang on like. We have staff (one in particular) who regularly phones in sick on a Friday. So much so that when the bleep goes off at 7am to say there's a call, we all say "Migrane Friday!"
