  1. Looks class in as much as I can tell from that video. He's got fantastic close control for a big guy.

    For fuck sake ;)

You could put together a better compilation of Shola than that. I know fuck all about Italian football but I'm sure we could do better than this. Man City are interested in Lukas Podolski, and he might go, why aren't we?

tbf Podolskis been pretty shite since the World Cup.

Pandev's a quality player and would be an asute buy (and no I don't play FM).

  2. Number 1, Ive ranted about this before but today just proved my case.

Ball boys/ girls. - Its time we cancelled whatever agreement we have and brought in the youth team or for that matter local school teams. Yet again today there were occasions where the ball person didnt know what to do or just didnt bother to do it. I especially noticed it at the East Stand near the SJH corner, young lad there clearly didnt want to be there and didnt know what he was supposed to do while there. Its not the 1st time, the Liverpool game had the ridiculous sight of Given legging it 40 yards over the the East Stand and vaulting over the barriers to retrieve the ball, would another injury to our first choice keeper be more cost effective than organising the ball persons properly? I think not.

I was gonna make a thread about the ballboys like, the ones in the east stand just didnt move, if I was a 10 year old ballboy at SJP I'd be sprinting for every ball that came remotley near me.

  3. When nicky butt was at birmingham and didn't turn up one saturday for the game because he'd been dropped. and nobody knew what had happened or where he was. i think it was bbc sport's website that had the headline "bruce to launch internal butt probe".

    ;)

  4. Glenn Roeder was United manager at the time, and looking to strengthen his attack.

Montgomery added: "At the time Toni was playing for Fiorentina and he was probably available for around a million.

"But within a year, his value had shot up and he moved to Bayern Munich in the summer for £7.7m."

  6. Zlatan Ibrahimovic has approached Milan to ask for a transfer, hints Carlo Ancelotti. “Nobody would suspect him. If I reveal his name, it’ll be chaos…”

It was no secret that the Rossoneri were close to signing former Juventus man Ibra last summer, but because they had to wait until their Champions League preliminary round was completed to know their strategy, Inter got there first.

Now that he has been a key figure in the Nerazzurri’s Scudetto triumph and Milan are champions of Europe, there are claims he wants to move on.

“Many champions have approached us. They all want us now,” smiled Ancelotti in yesterday’s Press conference.

“That includes one player who is totally above suspicion. If I reveal his name, it’ll be chaos…”

The newspapers this morning all agree on one thing – that man is Inter hero Ibrahimovic.

Already linked with Real Madrid, the real reason for his contract renegotiation problems is a desire to cross the city like Ronaldo, Andrea Pirlo and Clarence Seedorf before him.

The Swede has reportedly asked for a substantial pay increase from the current £4m per season to at least £5.5m.

He also bitterly criticised the club this week, comparing them unfavourably to the disgraced Juventus side led by Luciano Moggi.

“My agent is currently negotiating a wage increase at Inter. I hope Massimo Moratti is as decisive now as when he signed me,” explained the former Ajax man.

“At Juve, they were a lot clearer on certain things. Moggi was removed because we won too much. It was all jealousy. When I arrived at Inter, the first thing I advised Moratti was to bring in Luciano and change their mentality. Luckily, we won anyway…

“They are two great teams, but that Juve had something more. There was a sense of cohesion that still isn’t present at Inter,” he told ‘Libero’ newspaper.

“Last year when someone played badly, the other teammates lifted him up. Here it is the opposite – whoever plays below par drags the rest of the squad down with him. Inter are still learning what it takes to be at the top.”

This transfer story could bring relations between the two ‘cugini’ to an all-time low. Matters are already extremely tense after the clubs insulted each other at a distance during their trophy celebrations.
