I know away days are all good, but how does Reading stack up? I have heard that it's a plastic stadium away from town (a bus to get there from the train station!?!) I have also heard that not many come from the N-E and the allocation is taken up by Southern Mags. Anyone on here go last season?

From your telescope in far off Canada, perhaps you could tell us all the clubs with great directors who have spent mega millions on players more than us at this stage Hate to give geography lessons but California is a long way from Canada.

Sat 05-Feb 2005 Charlton (h) 1-1 Dyer 52 Rommedahl 53 Travelled all the way from Winnipeg, Canada to see this one. Supporting the toon sice the mid 80's- finally saw a match. Sat in the East Stand and listened to some guy take Phillipe Albert's song and chant Laurent Robert's name all game in between chants of Souness out. Loved Dyer's goal and was gutted when Rommedahl scored before I sat back down. Rode back to London with the Charlton fans with my jacket zipped to my neck to cover my toon shirt.

I work with a Spurs fan here in Canada. He has no real connection to the club and yet he has developed the spurs mentality. It is uncanny really... and perhaps a bit frightening. I just keep reminding him "they're just a small club in London" and Arsenal's bitch.
