Can't wait for the clubs side of the story via Lee Ryder. Jose clearly will have 'rejected' an amazing deal and refused to discuss further. My guess is a Nolan situation, contract offered verbally and agreed and then major u/turn performed by the club.
I dread any of our players coming up to contract renewal.....

Barton didn't have a great game today maybe frustrated by that and he's heard Jose is off and he's having a little paddy. I wouldn't read too much into it the team spirit seems ok just ubfortunately underpinned by clueless owners. It's clearly a problem but as it stands it doesn't seem to be having a negative effect on the pitch. No doubt someone will claim Forster was calculating net spend while trying to catch that cross this afternoon!

I'd be amazed if Srurridge goes anywhere on loan. Never heard of this fella but I have a bit of optimism given our recent scouting of Tiote. The days of signing 'big names' never delivered success so why not go down this route?

Why would you get a new car? 20k on some impractical bm, loses half its value as soon as you drive out of the showroom.
You could be driving one of these for 19.5k less.
it was in the used section but was pre-registered, 11 plate with only delivery mileage on the clock (30 miles). £8k cheaper than a brand brand new one.

Bought a new one this morning. I know quite a few BMW drivers who got winter tyres and said it drives really well so taken the punt. Can't wait to see the back of our Citroen c2!

While I rate Sturridge I don't see how a 6 month loan spell at Bolton suddenly justifies a top 4 move, big wages etc. Let's face it he wouldn't get in Chelsea, Man Utd or Man City's teams. Arsenal maybe. If he wants to make a move he'd be better off at someone like NUFC but i don't think there'll be many takers at £10m+. does anyone know his games/goal record before Bolton, iirc he hardly ever plays!

I'm not that bothered about 3D as a concept, it was more just thinking if we're gonna spend c£800 on something we might as well get something top end / fancy. If i'd be better off getting a good LED one then i'd be happy to consider.

The missus has had a tidy payrise so we've decided to treat ourselves to a 42" 3D TV. Can anyone recommend a good one / manufacturer? I've had a quick look on Currys and the prices seem to range from £600-1200. What do you get for your money?

I'm sure Lyon wouldn't mind their left back for their Champ League season, no surprise they turned us down. This whole affair is so predictable - less than 1 week to go to sign 3 players and we'll get to the end and say "we tried, we really did but clubs just weren't willing to play fair game". Gonna be a long season.
Anyway, can't wait to see how amazing the training ground and kitchen will look after all this investment.
