  1. I think Remy could hopefully bag 8-10 depending on how AP uses him. I'd agree the other two should easily make up the rest. Im hoping that Cabaye gets his head down and gets his true form back as that can bring us another 5-6 but if he sulks again he wont. Im still interested to see how AP will use Remy. Play off Cisse or Cisse alone with Remy/HBA supporting. I dont like Cisse alone unless we play the ball on the deck and support him.
  2. Guaranteed that at some point one or even both if we are as unlucky as we have been, get injured. Here is a stat for you. Last season the number of NUFC players to play in >30 league games. 3.
  3. Exactly. Look at last season. Perch played 21 games (excluding Europe) that someone else needs to fill in now. Danny Simpson 18 Ben Arfa played half of the season due to injury and you can expect he will be out at some point this also. Cisse last season scored pretty much 1 in 3 which as your main forward isnt great. Ba scored 13 and we have to hope that Remy will replace those goals (I think he will tbf) What happens though when Cisse or Remy are injured? Who steps up tot the plate? The season that we finished top 5 Cabaye and Tiote were fucking immense in the centre. Now we arguably have more choice and stronger options and yet are struggling to find that same midfield that worked so well. If Pardew can get the side ticking (tough with so much negativity around the place) then we could do ok but as soon as the injuries start to hit, and they will, we'll be severely weakened. But also, if he fails to get them to tick/gel like the end of last season, we're fucked. Its hardly a side that looks like it can roll up its sleeves when we need to dig in.
  4. and a polariser to go with it, its to fit my 14-24mm lens which needs a special fitting due to its concave front.

  6. Anyone for Pardew Bingo? - He will point to Man Utd failing to land their player saying even big teams can struggle - Say over the fucking line - We're still stronger than when we were 5th - Cabaye new signing - Mike has done well to resist bids for our players blah fucking blah
  7. ""Some bizarre reports coming out regarding United's collapsed Herrera deal. Apparently a group of men claiming to be United representatives spent an hour at the La Liga offices in Madrid today, but it turns out they had nothing to do with the club and were presumably just attempting to get a cut of the deal in an elaborate fraud. "Must be stressed these are just rumours but the Spanish media have published pictures of men in black suits - supposedly the United "representatives" - coming out of the league offices carrying briefcases. "All very strange and no doubt the truth will come out in the next few days." Fucking hell man. Anyone trying to get in the middle of a deal.
  8. Was just thinking as well. Ok, so Ashley doesnt care about the club. Its not a pain in the arse to him but as a businessman, he doesnt want it to cost him money. So, he will do what he can to keep us in the prem without putting money in if he can help it. Tread water if you will. So, any money we spend has to come from within. be it player sales or commercial activity. Ok, we get that. But, what the fuck happened to the sky money that everyone else seems to be spending? Or can we expect to read in this years accounts him taking a massive wedge out of what he previously put in.
  9. But Key players wont stay fit. At some point this season we will have injuries and suspensions.
  10. Good for him to get a run out. Disappointing to hear playground "booing". Seriously bemuses me seeing or hearing fucking grown men shout "Boo".
  11. Avg £600 ticket Lets say the avg is 2 pints, even call it a £5 Lets say none of them buy the new shirt £50 Lets say half of them dont buy for their kids or whatever £50 That £600 could easily be £705 just looking at that, so that £9M could easily be £10.5 ish. It quickly adds up like.
  12. We wont get him. I can help but think the club are trying to look active while not really wanting to sign. I do think we want a forward and expect us to try a late loan bid for someone or see if Gomis drops.
  13. Crouch is 6'2" when he jumps..
  14. Not true, they came all this way just to find decent looking women and men for their women. We done a bit of language swapping and then let them name some of our villages.
  15. Soon to be this (see last post) http://www.toontastic.net/board/topic/33971-wheeeeeee/
  16. While we've all no doubt puked due to drink, I have two classics: 1st when I was about 17, drank a huge bottle with two mates. Everything seemed to be going fine then I woke on the floor with my face in a puddle of puke and as the floor was lino, my face had stuck to it. Still remember the "schlop" sound it made as I peeled my face off. 2nd Around 1990 the night of the great north run, first Id done. Went for a drink with my mate around Jarrow, came home and drank home brew then a bottle of champagne then had an indians. Felt I was going to puke and made it to his kitchen. Put my hand over my mouth which only made it spray in various directions. Pissed, tried to clean it up with a few of his tea towels which only seemed to spread it all over. Niiiice.
  17. Random pissing is something I've never done, though a few mates have. One thing strings to mind, arguing with a taxi driver in Reading and I knew he was driving the wrong way. I started giving him grief (this was around 4am) and he was talking gibberish on his radio and I knew he was calling for mates to come back him up. so at a roundabout I bailed. Ran off (somewhere between Reading and Bracknell) and went to jump a 6ft garden fence, mis-timed and ran through the fence instead. Thankfully it was the middle of a panel and it smashed fairly easily. I ended up walking around 90mins the rest of the way back to the hotel.
  18. Great, now we're in a lose/lose situation as is the player unless he moves.
