  1. well at least thats one journo who no longer has to watch what he says and kiss arse for storys , im thinking of you lee ryder ! maybe aswell as john gibson and caulkin we will have another voice in the press telling it how it is now .
  2. taylor made that elbow in the face abit more obvious that usual , bar that he's having a good game . cant belive that wank pen from oba
  3. that was because he was out of the way , we had two strikers upfront that the oppositions centre backs had to deal with , leaving owen to drift into the box unmarked and unnoticed , trouble is we have to give up a centre midfield spot to let him do it , and he's bloody useless on the ball imo , cant remember the last time i seen him beat a man . I can't agree with you there. Owen rarely gave the ball away during that spell he played deep and was getting a lot of praise for it at the time. 'Useless' on the ball is wildly over the top. Of course his main asset these days is getting in the right place at the right time and finishing, both of which he still does well, but he's not a complete mug with a ball at his feet. You don't see that side of his game when he's playing up top though. Not that I'm suggesting he's a silky-skilled playmaker of course, but he cerainly kept possession well when he was more involved last season. The bottom line is that it worked. That 7/8 game run from Birmingham till we got safe was the best we've played in two seasons. we will have to agree to disagree , he's good at short simple passes , has a few long distance ones up his sleeve aswell , but watch him put his foot on the ball , he falls over half the time . im a big fan of micky owen , just dont like seeing him anywhere else but poaching(he reminds me so much of liniker these days) , and dont think we have the team to suit that atm , we cant even get the ball in the box these days .

  5. would give the club a lift and get some fans back onside by showing were heading in the right direction , played but not managed in the prem so has a fair idea of its standards , and has done a top job so far in his managerial career , Ketsbia for the toon !
  6. without service he's a luxury , lokenkrands and jonas on the wings then please , butt , smith and nolan in the centre
  7. arsenal wont pay 10 bloody million for bassong , they haggled like mad over paying 15 for arshavin , an internationally established player . cant see seb leaving this summer , or the club letting him go .
  8. ashley mugged his way to a billion, one look at sports direct's share price since he floated it will tell you that , and a large number of sports direct former employees and current investors will tell you he doesnt know how to run a sports shop. whats with all the NUSC bashing ? where has this came from ? there agressive stance towards the fuckwits running the club into the ground ? there fucking lucky they dont have to listen to half the lads i know with season tickets , in reality NUSC echo'd the sentiments of a pretty large majority , nevermind the only 1000 members people like to throw in their faces , theres only 1000 left who can be arsed to give a shit, everyones resigned to the fact its fucking pointless. balls of steel ashley told investors he had , fat cunt hasnt got the balls to end this 'jobs for the boys' structure thats sending us down the shitter . P.S im not a member of NUSC, for no other reason than im fucking fed up .
  9. Why? Explain few papers reported it . Could it not just be that Duff has been crap all season and Xisco, (when fit), hasnt set the world alight? dunno bout duff, we still owe money for his transfer tho , xisco like i said , can honestly belive the clubs not sure what todo with him and are holding off on playing him so we dont have to pay the next instalment , he scored in the Spain vs. Switzerland , came back to a squad that had injury problems and still didnt get a game /shrug , with one goal in 5 games he has a better goal ratio than shola for the toon aswell
  10. Why? Explain few papers reported it . the lads better than shola and carrol aswell but isnt getting a game . one of spains biggest prospects and scores regularly at under-21 international level but when he comes back he cant get a game, cant tell me he's be so shit in training he hasnt warranted a game when we have been low on numbers .
  11. get rid of the high earners , bring in a few solid players that know the championship , and let the kids at em ! we got some great kids , blood em in the championship and they should be mature enough to handle the premiership once were back .
  12. well, there is an outstanding payment on duff's transfer fee we still owe , aswell as luque and emre i think and im pretty sure xisco not getting a game is due to the fee we need to dish out after he has played 10 games or something thereabouts
  13. To keep us up this season? so why not make an appointment thats gonna be here beyond 9 games if were gonna make one at all ? shouylda been done when he first got sick . never mind working round and old mans bloody heart problems , were not a fucking charity , tho sometime's i feel we are when it comes to ashleys mates .
  14. JFK's contract only runs till the end of the season anyway , why bring another 'temporary' manager in till then ? make a fucking permanent appointment , and a decent credible one at that ! .
  15. 2.5k posts in under a year on a message board thats got fuck all todo with you , fuck off man . ill entertain you, he killed our wage budget with 5 poxy players .
  16. nice all of these players telling us they will stay if we stay up ....... heres one for you lads , we have fuck all todo with us staying up , its all down to you lot ! dont wanna play in the championship next year ? then score some fucking goals . same go's for bassong at the other end ... keep them fucking out , and while im talking to bassong here calm fucking down inside the box , pen waiting to happen , apart from that your doing great kid !
  17. they have more of a chance of silverware this year under hiddink than under scolari , and avram grant had a better win record than jose ..... its hardly affected them , who's to say they were never gonna be second best to manure the past few seasons anyway ? they needed investment in the window before jose left , and didnt get it . always maintained there is no point sticking with a manger if he isnt the right one , the longer you keep them in the job the more damage they do to the team , allerdyce had brainwashed the lads , and JFK is carring on the torch .
  18. more todo with who we didnt bring in rather than who we did imo, no matter what the budget keegan was given , he wasnt allowed control over it which would have normally been enough for keegan to tell them where to go , he dug in there for a while tho , breaking point imo came when they guy in control of the budget didnt manage to get the job done and sent us into a season with a weak squad they wanted keegan to take responsibility for . it's like they think keegan is stupid , i cant belive for one second he would have wanted to overextend the club beyond its means , he's always been ruthless as hell when it comes to putting newcastle first , should have just gave him 10-20 mill and let him have control of the wage budget .
  19. I agree. I don't think that post did the supporters club any favours. Nothing seemed to be achieved. We all know what Llambas is like, you don't need to tell us. No one believes a word he says, lets get past that. ehh ? you would rather not have heard what nusc printed and the chronicle didnt ? thank fuck we have one group of supporters out there with the balls to print it . ignorance is bliss ehh
  20. nice one seb , thanks for clearing that up for us , hope lambsarse choked on his tea while reading it
  21. Continuing Shepherds good works, there wasn't a club set up to harrass him though there wasnt for ashley for a good while , even tho alot of people were questioning him along time before keegan even arrived again . ill admit ashley has caught the backlash from years of frustration from toon fans , probably because we thought we had finally got an owner to match our ambition , only tobe brought crashing down to reality and back to the soap opera , people finally snapped .
  22. ofc nusc comes off anti ashley , it was born in a time of need when ashley is pulling the club down around us , pretty hard for it to not come off anti ashley . infact i dont know anyone who is pro ashley , bar the chron when they are allowed to sit on lambsarses knee
  23. carry on as is , i dont want to see any change in their approach , its about time fans confronted the regime head on .
  24. great writeup and some interesting points raised . the comment regarding salarys is a really interesting one aswell , makes me wish id kept linked from articles reporting our wage outgoings from previous years . i remember report that had us turning 5mill profit per season after ashley arrived , and mike has loaned the club another 30+ million since... there has been so many different reports of accounts your stuck with taking everything they say at face value , but it doesnt add up to me . i was one of the first to raise concerns about ashley and have kept an eye on figures reported since he arrived and none of it add's up .
