  1. Not sure if this was aimed at my post, but I think this was a little uncalled for..... Sorry if we've offended anyone with this, it was simply an idea we'd had whilst visiting a distributor, Ash, who are based in Newcastle. It was mentioned to them at the time and they seemed quite keen on the idea, being Newcastle fans themselves. I was taking the piss Will you be making any further posts on this forum after Sima and Big Thompers buy one each and then the thread falls flat on it's arse? I very much doubt it, therefore it falls into the spam category for me. Have you tried that e-bay site? Not meant to be spam - simply trying to get market opinion as we don't sell directly to end users, so not sure I agree with you. it's not as if we're selling little blue pills or access to porn sites is it? As for e-bay, we've successfully run a shop for the last two years on e-bay, so they will go on there at some point to also see what customers think of them. Will the thread fall on it's ****? 124 views since 1.30pm today - must be doing something........I'll wait and see what happens after the end of this week and see if there's any more interest....
  2. Not at the present time, no. We don't supply directly to customers anyway - they would have to be sourced through the Internet, or local stores rather than through us. Discounts are always available through the Internet anyway - the price I put on here was simply a guide 'RRP' rather than a fixed cost as e-tailers notoriously get the prices as low as they can anyway. Besides, one small flaw in the plan - the keyboard is still in it's infancy and we're deciding whether to bring it into the UK or not - adding it to the site was a pure experiment on our part to get some opinions from prospective customers - as I put in another post, if no-one likes it, we'll not continue down this route and may even choose not to bring it into the country at all.
  3. Hi, Yes, we know. Getting licensing for specific teams requies a lot of expense on the part of the manufacturer and we've explored this avenue previously. The margins available on products like this are restrictive to add licensing to, so not an option at this time. The factory in Germany produced this keyboard as early samples late last year and it's part of our standard product line - as per another post I've put on here, I've only mentioned it on the site because of some feedback from a Newcastle United supporting distributor in the local area and really, we're trying to gauge opinion as to whether it's something we promote more to footie fans, or whether we simply continue down our normal path of totally IT based promotion. At the end of the day, the customer knows best - if no-one on the forums like it, we'll leave well alone....
  4. Hi, So, how about a nice black and white wireless keyboard to go with it? You can use the keyboard without the mosue if you like....!

  6. Hi, Just thought this may be of interest to fans of the black and white team - how about a keyboard in Newcastles famous colours - check out this link for more details: http://www.cherry.de/english/products/wire...ign_Desktop.htm The product is called the 'Orca' and is a wireless keyboard and mouse set from Cherry. The set uses 2.4ghz radio frequency, giving a 10m range, plus interference free operation when multiple products are used in one location. The mouse is a laser type, meaning complete precision on the desktop and also has a mini USB receiver whcih can be stored within the mouse if necessary. Batteries are provided as standard... Total cost, approximately £65 including VAT. Cherry are merely gauging opinion on this product at the moment to see if there is a market in the UK for it - already there is a large selection of keyboards and mice available from the manufacturer, but none so far in this new, stylish black and white livery. For more details on the Cherry range, visit www.cherry.co.uk or send me an e-mail! Robin.
