  1. I think you're being overly positive there, but I guess we won't know till January and then the end of the season.

What worries me is even if we manage to scrape though this season without relegation, what state we'll be in for next season.

Through all the years of inconsistency with different managerial regimes, boards, players etc one thing remains the same - The unrealistic expectations of the fans

Yes I know we're the greatest fans the world has ever seen blah blah blah but for fucks sake give the bloke a chance & give him our support at least until the end of the season.

  2. Had this debate many many times in the boozers about non-Newcastle lads following Newcastle United. :(

Why don`t they support their home town club instead of following mine :(

People who are from Newcastle and have moved away are OK as are those with parents born in Newcastle. ;)

But these f**kin daytripper types really need to take a good look in the mirror and ask themselves what they are playing at?

Controversial maybe but its gotta be said?

Irish/Welsh and European fans are also OK in my book as they don`t really have any decent clubs worth following.

Its always bothered me to be honest.

Nothing against you lot personally and would have a beer with any c**t but deep down i think there is and has always been a them and us complex with Newcastle lads?

Sunderland aside of course. The rest can fuck off.

I was born in St Mary's hospital Newcastle Upon Tyne, my folks were from the Toon but I've lived away for the last 18 years.

Now, what would be really good would be if the players for ANY club had to be born within a 20 mile radius of the ground.

THEN WE MIGHT ACTUALLY WIN SOMETHING !

  3. So whilst old dears cant afford their fuel bills etc silly cunts are throwing money around like this?

    Only here, only fucking here

As long as its paid for privately I couldn't give a f*ck !"

No one subsidises my  entertainment. :)

  4. .........not me personally but that was the general reaction of Toon fans in general when "Geordie" Mike turned up in the Away section wearing a black 'n' white shirt, pot gut & a big grin. All he had to do was play Jack the Lad & he had everyone kissing his @rse ..........especially when he brought the "Messiah" back, and then he well & truly f*cked things up big style when he appointed Dennis (not so) Wise & things went rapidly down hill.

Listen, I've got nowt against KK, he was great in his day both as a player & a manager but, lets face it, he's well past his "sell buy"

I sincerely hope that whoever takes over is in it for the long term (like the Yanks at Manu U), invests in the club & builds for the future.

So, I've not been so complimentary about KK - what are my alternatives? How about:-

    a) El Tel - top class & proven & he's interested (just don't let him anywhere near the accounts)

 Paul Ince - if he could be tempted away from Blackburn,

    c) Matin O,Neil - a class act.

    Am I talkin sh!te or what ???

  5. If you don't like Keegan, what actually figures from the club's history do you admire? That's a rhetorical question to save the sad bastards the effort btw.

In order of magnanimity my top 10:-

    1. Bobby Robson

    2. Alan Shearer

    3. Bob Moncur

    4. Peter Beardsley

    5. Joe Harvey

    6. Sir John Hall

    7. Arthur Cox

    8. Jackie Milburn.

    9. Supermac.

    10. Terry McDermott.

  6. We all need to have a bit of PATIENCE to allow a new manager to settle in & build.

    Ruud Gullit

    Graeme Souness

    Glenn Roeder

    Sam Allardyce.

Please - defend these managers and tell me where they would have took us at their optimum level of performance.

I was there in 1982 against QPR when Keegan struck the ball & "the crowd sucked it in to the net"

I followed the Toon home & away & shared in the magic of the Keegan years.

I followed the toon when KK was manager & saw some of the most exciting & adventurous football I've ever seen.

I was there for the "messiah's" return this year & - you know what - I sensed then something was wrong. It wasn't the same somehow. The crowd were relatively subdued. The atmosphere was depleted, despite the cardboard hats, cheerleaders & associated bullshit.

Keegan FAILED to inspire, the results didn't come & when it came to the crunch, as per usual, the little f*ck*r walked...

The ONLY reason KK returned to Newcastle was because his business was in the sh!t & he needed the wonga.

I swear, in 1984 when he took off from St James in that helecopter he was piss*ng on us

  7. Fookin get in!

    :):nufc:

Blow that out your arse ollieburton you mackem cunt!

Why do some people have to be aggressive & abusive just because they disagree with someone's posts. Personally I think its a sign of limited intelligence & inferiority complex. The use of course terms for genitalia & bodily orifices indicates someone with an inferiority complex in the sexual arena - OR PERHAPS HE JUST HAS A SMALL PENIS ? []

  8. Does it matter who owns the Toon...?????

I'm old enough to remember when it was Pirate Westwood, Stan Seymour & McKeagg, then we had the Halls, then Freddie Shepherd & now Mike Ashley & "sack the board" was chanted at every one of them.

Christ - we even got rid of Bobby Robson !

Now where going to get a bunch of Nigerians or an Arab Sheikh.

Fundamentally there is something wrong with Newcastle which means we've had zero success in nearly 40 years.

I put it down to a lack of long term planning & the desire for instant success.

We need owners who are here for the long term, who will put a decent structure in place, in terms of youth development & financial prudence.

We also need a top class manager who buys the players & picks the team. Personally I don't think that person should be Keegan but thats my own view.

We all need to have a bit of PATIENCE to allow a new manager to settle in & build.

I know we,ve been wating 40 years but if we carry on like this we'll STILL be waiting in another 40 years.

  9. Sorry folks, I ended up here by mistake after googling black holes & large probes :~)

Seriously though, this machine could spell disaster for the human race , is it just a coincidence that we've not come across any other intelligent lifeforms, maybe they got to a certain stage of development then switched one of these things on and .....

I've been working on an experiment for the last 3 years detecting Tachyon's (particles which travel backwards in time) when I discovered regular patterns in the noise, could'nt make any sense of it until I realsied it was in French,,,,,,,

Still working on it but first part says "Le collider de Hadron détruit des Français........"

    Anyone translate ?

  10. Couldn't watch all of that :nufc:

he needs to be looked after properly, it's a crying shame, it really is.

All this reminds me of when Yasser Arafat died... it was really sad & his family had him buried in the Gazza strip -

NEWCASTLE TOP, RANGERS SHORTS & SPURS SOCKS ! ;)

    Sorry, couldn't resist it.
